Do you use a dedicated simpit?
Ruggbutt replied to Typhoon's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Here's mine: -
It sucks, I had to work all weekend. I'm 20 minutes away from Luke. First time I've missed in a decade.

I had a bully in High School. I was one of the smaller kids and this guy had 70 pounds and half a foot of height on me. My senior year this jaggoff kept picking on me during Phys Ed class. Towards the end of the year I was about getting fed up. We were playing field hockey that day and dude tripped me with his hockey stick, I went down hard. So I waited. And when he came running by to scrim I hit him just below both knees with the stick as hard as I could. Down he went. As I stood over him to hit him again "coach" grabbed me and stopped me from beating him unmercifully. As coach was pulling me away I was screaming that he'd better get someone else to get his car in the parking lot, as I'd be waiting and I was gonna run his arse down. Someone came and got his car. And he never even spoke a word to me again. He's lucky coach was so quick cuz I doubt I'd have only hit him one more time.

Nice pix! Thanks for sharing. What kind of rig did you shoot these with?
-
It probably isn't. Several crimes are committed there and a true Marine would have just made him poo himself and run. Maybe the phone calls. Either way, it gives me the warm fuzzies.

question before buying it...
Ruggbutt replied to X RAY's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
You should be able to run it just fine. Before I upgraded to an i970 I had an e8500 and it ran fine. -
Thanks for sharing. That's a wonderful thing the soldiers did.

Show pilot body?
Ruggbutt replied to Zebb's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
I don't think it's an option. Haven't been able to do this either. -
I hope they treat the assassin well according to the Geneva convention. May I recommend pork chops and bacon sammiches? Seriously though, I hope he gets what he deserves but I don't think Germany has the death penalty, do they?

What's your login at the Hangar. I'll PM Revvin and have him straighten it out.

Did you use a hotmail or yahoo account? I think you have to use something other than those because it's a way for the board owner to keep a lid on spam. Ghost has made a nice CH for Dummies Guide. It's on the Hangar. Typically you set up your pedals so that if you want to yaw left, you push left pedal. I felt that way too. When I got the stick off the desk it turned out it was the right size. Coming from an X-45 I felt this way too. But since real pilots usually use the coolie hat on the stick to trim their a/c I figure if it's good enuf for them, it's good enuf for me. You can use either the Fighterstick or the Throttle for mode control if you use that in your map. I use the orange button on the side of the stick for mode control. The one of the throttle I use for eject. But that's what's great about CH, you can use either controller for your mode choices.

Basic Help
Ruggbutt replied to TurtleHawk's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
Turtlehawk, what CH products do you have? I have a bunch of CH gear but I have a great profile for the Fighterstick and Pro Throttle. I'd be willing to remove the other controllers from my profile and send it to you. -
If you need any help or have any questions, the CH Hangar is the place to go. If you need some personalized help let me know. We'll get you up and running. Crunch runs CH gear and he's very knowledgeable as well.

I wanna know what phone call he's expecting that so important that he can't remove the bluetooth from his ear.
-
Thanks, that's the old one though.

Here's the link for the download files.

It works fine with Win 7.

I've put a lot of "mileage" on my CH kit and I've had the HOTAS and pedals for over 6 years. Still running strong!

That's an awesome story. Be thankful I wasn't there, I'd have asked you more questions than you'd have had time to answer. I've seen a few vets who get embarassed. You shouldn't be, you had the most honorable job on the planet and deserve to be thanked for it once in a while. I always thank someone when I find out they're a vet. It's the least I can do considering what you gave.

Awesome write up! I love this kind of stuff!

She's a beautiful boat. I always thought PT boats were sexy.

Budget DCS: A-10 UFC
Ruggbutt replied to Ruggbutt's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
It works exactly like I'd expect it to work. I think it was worth the price.
