Mako, tell his family that mine appreciates what he did for a living. It's noble as hell and I can't imagine a more honorable profession. I'm sorry for your loss.

One only need visit the Arizona Memorial and I promise you'll think about what happened at Pearl more than you ever have before in your life. It's a solemn event standing on the bridge that goes across her, the wall lined w/names of those that went down with her. She cries a little, you can see the tears rise to the top of the water in the form of oil drops. I have a flag that I had flown at the Arizona. It's shadow boxed and on the wall in my family room. I'll never forget...............

As bad as the last OFP was I don't blame them. They were so close but decided that for PC they wouldn't add stuff such as lean. The AI could lean and shoot..............They decided to take their direct console port and run with it. And look what it got them.

A-10C 1.1.0.9 constant crashes
Ruggbutt replied to Stary's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
That's the main cause, the game really needs a 32 bit OS as well as lots of RAM. -

You're still running 32 bit OS? -

Legendary could mean F-15 or F-16. They mentioned in the past that it will be an American combat jet. -
Specifically a fast mover/fighter.

Local credit union is the way to go. I killed a 17 y/o Wells Fargo account because they wanted me to pay for my free checking after all these years.

Are you using the same name as here for login? I'll PM Revvin. You can get the PDF here.

I didn't wanna say anything, but Pan Am went out of business.

National security? Bulls**t.

Sounds like the worst video game ever. Even worse than WoW or Minecraft.

My ex quit cigarettes and went to the e-cig. However, she really got into it and mixes her own juices and flavors and nicotine levels. Once she got her modded e-cig and her flavors her habit only ended up costing her $30 a month.

If you need anything let me know. The programming is much easier than just about any of the other HOTAS software out there, you can do so much and it's so simple once you get comfortable with the interface.

That's so unlike you. :D

I will be doing a review soon of the Warthog. I've had it for close to six months but I wanted to do a review of how it managed to perform after being used for a while. I don't want to give away too much but TM screwed the pooch on a couple things with the Warthog.

I'm saddened that our brothers across the pond aren't allowed free speech. No matter how ignorant it may be. Shame, the thought police have arrived, arrested and helped sentence someone because of something they said. I'm glad I'm American after reading this story.

F**k your religion as well. Using as an excuse to kill. NJ! You've just put all of Islam under the microscope as well as the crosshairs. No wonder you're from countries that are still living in the 4th century.

I was working for my brother in law, running a paint crew on a high end tract of homes. Had to turn a home over to it's new owners and was listening to Stern as it all went down. I wanted to go home, but couldn't because I owed the homeowner the courtesy to finish my job. I felt sick, I got mad, I swore revenge. I went thru all the levels of emotion. Towards the end of the day I had to check out a home we had painted that had no power. Had to check the cut in at the ceiling so I took my 4 D-Cell Maglite flashlight w/me. As I was leaving the house two people on my crew (illegal aliens, I didn't hire them nor did I want them, they were forced on me) were laughing and talking in spanish about how great it was America got attacked. They were chatting about how much they hated America. The country that was putting food on their tables and giving them a better life than the s**thole country they came from. I lost it. I attacked them, the male first. Lonnie, the other guy working under me had to take me to the ground to keep me from killing one of the illegals. They took off in a hurry and I called my brother in law right away so that he got the story straight from me before they got a chance to say anything to him. They showed up for work the next day with an American flag sticker on the back window of their truck. Like that was going to make me feel any different about them. I felt it was a shame that doing residential construction wasn't very dangerous cuz it would have been awesome if one of them had got hurt on the job...................About 8 months later my brother in law asked me to lay them off. It's the only time in my life that I enjoyed telling someone they no longer had a job. I don't work on 9/11 to this day. My employees can if they want to, but I make myself incommunicado and I do much of nothing. I make sure that I remember the events of that day, and keep them with me so that I'll never forget the day that my fellow countrymen were murdered in the name of islam.

Yes, I would. The throttle is a russian style throttle in that it's a slider instead of being on a curved axis like U.S. style throttles are. The positives with this type of throttle are that no matter what position you are in (idle/mil/ab) all the controls at your fingertips are in the same place. With my Warthog throttle the geometry is changed and I'm still getting used to it, months later. If you purchase a Pro Throttle check out my Afterburner Detent Tutorial. I was able to add something that I felt was missing from the PT. It works great and I haven't had to re-do the mod. It also doesn't affect your warranty! The Pro Pedals are excellent as well. Some folks think they're too close together but once you get used to them you never think about that again. Not to mention that you can program them with a script for pressure sensitive braking in sims that don't have them. If you purchase feel free to PM me for those scripts. They're easy to copy and paste and you'll be up and running in no time.

Best bang for your buck is CH Products. I have a CH review as well as a G940 review up here at CA. IMHO Logitech still hasn't fixed some of the issues I pointed out with their product since I wrote the review. I own a Warthog, I actually bought it to do a review here. Seems TM didn't think CA was important enough to send a unit to for review. Ok, well that's partially true. The rest of it is a certain flight sim producer has a hard on for me as well as CA and helped them make the decision to ignore us. The Warthog is overpriced. There are some issues with it as well, one being the absolutely worst mini-joystick ever to be installed on a HOTAS. I won't go into details about how bad it is, I'll save that for my review. The TARGET software for the Warthog is an all or nothing approach for the consumer. You either program it in the GUI, which is limited in scope with what you can do or you must understand and be willing to learn a new programming language. There is no middle ground. If you go the quick and easy way, the software running in the background eats 500mb of memory, and at times peaks at 2gb of memory (no kidding!). If you write your script the software for that (they're different programs) only eats about 100mb of memory. I've owned just about every HOTAS available so I know the pros and cons of the majority of them. CH is the way to go. The software can be used by a novice but you can still do some serious scripting within the GUI. Those of you that have flown Falcon 4 know how many keybinds are required to do a ramp start. You can program all of those commands with one button/hat in CH Control Manager. No scripting, just type in the command from your keyboard and save. Not only that but if you do wanna jump into some hardcore scripting you can head over to the CH Hangar and get answers to your questions from the man who wrote the software, Bob Church. He's on daily and is very helpful. In Lock On/Flaming Cliffs wheel brakes are the w key, but they're either full on or full off. No in-between. Bob wrote a script for me that makes the brakes feel like they're pressure sensitive, just like in your car. Push the brakes 1/4 of the way down, the script cycles the w key on and off 8x a second. Press halfway the key is cycled 12x a second. 3/4 of the way 16x a second and if you jam them to the stops then the brakes lock up completely. How's that for a way around the limitations of the sim? Let's not forget that I own 6 CH controllers and the newest one is 5 years old. Most are more than 6. And there is not a problem with one axis, one button or one hat in all of those controllers after all this time.

SIMMOD A-10A
Ruggbutt replied to malibu43's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
I don't see just the SIMMOD A-10, but there's a pack that has the A-10, Gys/Valery's F-15 and 3Go's Su-27. You have to register and they're in the download section of www.lockonfiles.com. I skinned the SIMMOD A-10.
