    The Beriev A-50 (NATO reporting name: Mainstay) is a Soviet airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft based on the Ilyushin Il-76 transport. The existence of the A-50 was revealed to the Western Bloc in 1980 by Adolf Tolkachev.Developed to replace the Tupolev Tu-126 "Moss", the A-50 first flew in 1978. It entered service in 1984, with about 40 produced by 1992.     Happy you are enjoying this :) . Always happy when I see someone enjoy my Mods.. I always tried to create aircraft that cannot be found in other simulators, and I had very few resources when I started this project. I had so many more Ideas for other projects, but situations arose in real life that I can no longer devote the time to modding as I did before. there are other projects out there that other modders are helping me put the last touches on them, and hopefully will be released in the near future. take care Ed
