  1. Boulder: I am starting a thread about it. I dont care if I don´t know, what I don´t know - I will learn. This will be made. Check in on the Campaign making threads in a while when I finished it all up. The first idea is a wall of text.
  2. This is just plain Epic. Anybody up for making a campaign for it? :D I never made one from scratch, but would be happy to help with scenarios and all that.
  3. Yes, but the Lansen was not designed to fill the role the Javelin did. Its main role was to be an Attack Aircraft. The Night Figther version was suplemented by J-35s soon enought :)
  4. That would be great :) Let me know if its sources you need. I know a few places.
  5. Thanks, Wrench. Going to fix it up right now so expected a updated version. Also, I removed the second pilot from the A-32.
  6. ... NO TO TERRORISM; That is Sweden in a nutshell. Never take forceful action, instead clearly declare your intention, preferable in a facebook status. Sorry, but... its just the way it is.
  7. NICE! Any chance you can provide updated skins for the Swedish Air Force versions of the Lansen as well? Those we got are... dated.
  8. Lexx: Considering to how I have seen the Lansen fly, and the describtions in a few books about its handling, id say your FM does the job well. Its a medium fighter, a tad more sluggish then the Hunter, but not to the Phantom level - depending on what you are carrying, of course.
  9. Oh, that changes things quite a bit :). Don´t worry about it then. At any rate, I submitted a edit, so a correction should be up soon. Regarding a thing I actually was not certain with is the S-32C Camo pattern. My book shows a S-32C in a similar camo but It does not look like the same one, so if its was not carried by S-32C, I just invoke artistic license :P
  10. If I make a mistake, there is no need to be rude. You are correct, I simply assumed they where single seaters due to most images showing a single pilot (and this makes sense)
  11. View File Lansen Package Most of the work on this bird was done by NeverEnought and Timmy; Big thanks to them. Avionics & Damage models optimisation by Wrench. Thanks a bunch for that! Original Readmes included. A32A 3D model by Timmy. Cammo Skin and Metal silver Skins by Timmy. Dark Green Skin & national decals by Knug. FM work by Lexx. Euro001 Pilot by Diego. Martin Baker Mk GW5 Ejection Seat by Ravenclaw_007. Swedish RB Missile Set by Ravenclaw_007. SF2 updates by NeverEnough. M123 Photoflash Bomb from Bunyaps Weapons package - thanks to whoever made it. Avionics Upgrade by Wrench. All I did was to seperate it all into the three service versions, as per the sources of the book "Lansen" by Sven Stridsberg. Versions included in this package: Swedish Air Force: A-32A Lansen (F17 Blekinge) J-32B Lansen (F1 Västmanlands Flygflottilj) S-32C Lansen (F11 Södermanlands Flygflottilj) A-32A: Attack version, fitted with bombs for ground targets and the Robot 04 for Ships. The basis for "CIC Club", the first strike that would annihilate Soviet Ships on the Baltic. Carrying a Thirdwire substitute for Bofors AKAN 20mm Guns. Standard Military Green skin. J-32B: All Weather Figther, however most used as a Night Figther and thus, this is as well. Its set to Night Only, so be mindful of this if you use it with the Campaign Editor. Carrying 4x 30mm Aden guns. Silver Skin. S-32C: Recon Version, carrying photoflash bombs. Added mostly for novelty value. Aside from that, you are left to your own speed and devices to evade the enemy. Experimental Low-Alt Skin. Enjoy! Submitter JonathanRL Submitted 09/10/2011 Category Other

  13. If you do not have it, pick it up. Its about 4 euros and WELL WORTH IT!
  14. I was at a friends house. We was switching past the channels and we past CNN - who had live coverage. I told him to keep it on - He did not feel it was warranted - and we where just about in time to see the second plane hit a few minutes later. At first, I could not belive it. I tought it was a replay, and so did my mate. It was only when I heard myself say "The tower burned before the impact" that I understood what had happened. I did not leave the house all evening.
  15. I think destroyable missiles may be one of the features for the Tomcat Title that TK was hinting at with "working naval combat" on Twitter.
  16. Tripoli has already fallen. Do you not mean Sirte?
  17. Thank you :). Tbf, I would be happy with simply reveiw copies, but since I buy most of TWs stuff anyway, its hardly an issue. Gr.Viper:No, I was too busy staying on the tail of the A-4s to actually have a closer look at the AI Behavior. However, the Falcons completly ignored my flight and turned to get a bunch of fitters instead.
  18. I for one like this DLC idea, just because I sometimes want to fly something different, crazy or red side - Funny how this is the first "official" red side we get :D But flying all that does not mean I wish to get into the .inis all the time.
  19. Why is such stuff released when I have no money! Such a pain! I would find uses for this one, since I often want to fly something different in a campaign...
  20. Bug found where J-34 Hawker Hunter is unavalible in the campaign. Working on it as we speak... ...and fixed. Uploading a new version. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  21. View File Flottilj 22 Dhimar Dhimar, 1959. The Swedish Goverment, buying most of their oil from Dhimar has decided to deploy Fighters to the region of Dhimar to aid the defence of the Kingdom. This is the first war for the Swedes in 150 years... Information: This campaign will not overwrite anything, and is a minimal change from the SF2 Campaign. It will add Division 22, a Swedish Squadron flying the J-29F Tunnan or the DLC J-34 Hawker Hunter in the defence of the Dhimari Empire during the 59´ Campaign. The idea for this is from an AAR I posted with a custom made campaign, and some players of the game asked for a playable copy, with a minimal of hazzle. As such, all you need is included. However, instead of the J-35A Upgrade, i decided to include a What-If "Field Refit" of the J-29F, nicknamed the JA-29D. The campaign will upgrade to this aircraft in 1963, since I belive this is more plauable then new aircraft being sent down. The J29F is made by Wrench, and the readme is included. Big thanks to him for supplying it. To fly the J34 Hawker Hunter in the campaign, you must own the DLC. I really recommend picking it up. That is about all... Happy huntin! 1.1 - A Beta tester playing only in SF2 reported Cockpit problems with the J29F. A fix has been included to remedy this if it appears. - Fixed a bug where the J-34 Hawker Hunter DLC would not appear in the Campaign. 23. Freespace 2 is based around Subspace Nodes - aka space gates. Sounds more like he want a sandbox style game.
  24. DAMNIT! And I am out of money, too :( ...my only hope is TK sending me a review copy :D
