  2. striker01- it's no bug. The targets are simply placed for practice. The a/c happen to be an object Bunyap created for the range simply because there are no static a/c by default in the game. There is no destroyed lod done for it. The range was not designed for regular missions with objectives. It's all just to hone your A2G skills.
  3. I will definitely have to release an update, but it will be a much smaller d/l since you will not need the tiles. You will also have to recopy the .cat file over once the game is patched. It should be a painless process.

  5. I hate typing so here's a dup of my post @ SimHQ-- Evening all. A lot has gone on behind the scenes prepping this for release. Two guys in particular (Andy Bush and Bunyap) devoted thier free time in making this happen quickly and seamlessly. Andy supplied tons of info and guidance. Bunyap did a kickass job of creating some new targets, placing targets and ini work. So please be sure to let em know thier work is appreciated. The gameworld has tons of possibilities and space which is one reason I want to get it out, so that the community has a template to improve on. I have to finalize a few things and then upload it.   9. Thanks guys. I'm trying to put together some screens of the Bombing/Target Range now and will post them on my site. It's looking like it will be ready for release very soon!   12. Thank god for free web translation :P I don't know who's doing that terrain, sorry. It's not from Wolf's Vietnam terrain I know. It looks fairly familiar though. I'd love to see the whole terrain. Really nice work!!

  15. Oh no sweat. Didn't bother me at all. It's my hope that someone will continue to develop additional terrains and if they use the Euro as a base, then I would take it as a compliment quite honestly. I misunderstood that this was a completely new terrain.... :( back to work then I guess. btw zeufman, there are some winter schemes coming along.

  18. There in lies your problem...the desert.cat needs to be renamed deuces not dueces. This has been the #1 issue with the install.
  19. Sorry coffee just shot out of my nose. I too would like to see new terrains and textures. I hope they never look like Falcon though...sorry but the old sat images with a green cowpie plopped in here and there is not what I would consider an improvement, but that's just my opinion. Now if there have been improvements with the SP4, then I'd be happy to eat my words :D
  20. Oh no...you can do any kind of tile type you want, the focus of this tutorial was on reskinning the default tiles which is pretty much anyone wanting to do a terrain can do right now without the editor. What tile type were you thinking about?
  21. I will be uploading part 3 of this tutorial in next day or so. For those who have read parts 1 and 2, I've decided to cover transitional tiles a bit deeper. Here is a preview of what you will be able to create after the part 3. Sorry for the large image MJ. I'd be happy to scale it down if need be.
  22. Hmm good question SD...I've never checked since it always ran smooth. And multiplayer...oh man, once you got it setup, which was somewhat tedious, I would say was one of the smoothest experiences I've had online. You could fly soo close to your wingy that you could almost key his paint :) and no lag or stutter. The netcode was rock solid. The only problem I ever had was every now and then I'd get a CTD, this was single play as well, and got an error message. From what I could find on the forums was it had something to do w/nvidia chipsets. They never fixed it but it was random.
