Folks, after a lot of reading about Korean War I dare to say - The Yak-3, Yak-7B, Yak-9/T, Yak-9U, Yak-9P, La-7, P-39, P-63 and IL-28 were all used by North Koreans and Russians. Most were taken by WWII surplus and secondary duties of VVS. It´s almost impossible to find any photographic evidence. In my oppinion the most rare photo of all aviation history is the one of NKAF P-39/P-63, if they ever exist. In the Web you can find some references about them but they´re all cloudy. The american pilots mistook the sleek P-39 by the sharp nosed Yaks. In the heat of battle, La-7 and La-11 are all the same. For the IL-28, they were restrict for some small operations and in small numbers. If anyone could share some photos here... Thanks!

I tried to take-off with my Pasko´s Yak-3 in SFP2 but the plane´s FM is terrible. In AI take-off the right wing stalled everytime. Could anyone makes a new more accurate FM? Thanks buddies!

Wrench, let me explain a bit more. When adding the airfields to the TERRAIN, set ALL airfields in British Islands, France, Netherlands, Belgium as LARGE airfields. For Germany mainland all airfields as MEDIUM. In the east side, SMALL for the Russians. Again, this will be done in the terrain folder in _TYPES.INI, I think. With this, an USAAF P-47D for example with MinBaseSize=LARGE settings will operate in the left side of the map - West europe. A Yak-9 with MinBaseSize=SMALL will use bases at right side - East Europe. I hope to be more clear... Thanks!

Wrench, I just had a good idea - To use three countries at same time with three scenarios at same time too (RAF/USAAF in west, Luftwaffe in the middle and VVS at east) SHOULD be simple with some edit. Example: - All the Europe/GB airbases using the LARGE airfields. - All Luftwaffe airbases using the MEDIUM airfields. - All Soviets airbases using the SMALL airfields. Doing this, when creating the planes *Z*.DATA.INI the line ¨MinBaseSize=LARGE¨ will dictate wich side of the map the plane will work. Got it? I´m honestly don´t know if it works as I stated. Perhaps it needs some other tweaks. Thanks doctor!!!

Gents, as KAW is ariving lately, some of the most misterious facts about Korea War remains cloudy even in those days of globalization. The following description is taken from Squadron´s ¨Air War Over Korea¨, by Larry Davis, page 34. It says: ¨The NKAF fighter force, made up of Yak-3,Yak-7,P-39/P-63 Cobras, and IL-10 continued to attempt to stave off the American air onslaught, but it was a futile effort.¨ It´s not the first time I find a description about P-39/P-63 flying with the North Koreans. I NEVER saw any photo or a drawing showing these birds anywhere. It sounds very truly as the Soviets left many planes along the invaded countries and North Korea was one of these. I read too that american pilots used to called all the Korean´s inlined prop planes as ¨Yaks¨ and it may had been this case. What a great mistery it is...

The firsts ¨C¨ models had a flat belly because they didn´t have the belly rack. It´s the most beautifull version of all to me... Looks more slim.

This´s what I meant. Nice! The canopy frames should be much more straights, not so curved as the last screenshot. It´s getting a lot better!!!

As the Helldiver had a curved windscreen, an internal flat squared shaped bullet-proof glass panel was installed in the same way as the SBD.
