  1. I'm still working on converting the existing file owners, at least as many as I can. I changed yours (found 2 files), try it now and see if it works.
  2. As Cobra stated, players cannot taxi out of the hangers, you start on the apron. Computer-controlled aircraft can taxi from the hangers however.
  3. I'll see what I can do about the weekly/monthly stats. Should be easy enough to code. I'm still wading through the links to see what we are missing. Unfortunately a lot of the missing links are files that people linked to a remote location, so we'll have to scrounge around and see if we can find a copy and upload it locally. I'm not sure what you mean by the forum edit only working for a few minutes, can you clarify that one for me? Thanks for the kind words. Next up, working on these damn forum colors to match the main site.
  4. It looks like the images are no longer available at the location the poster linked to.
  5. Try it now bud. Apparentely I missed the Moderator group when I was assigning permissions to the download area. So members could DL, but not Mods. DOH!
  6. We have them online here as well, did you check the file area? A list of LOMAC object Mods sorted by author Just scan down, you will see all the mods from BoboCop.
  7. I always like to hear constructive feedback, but I'm not quite sure where you are coming from in this case. First off, why do you have to click 10 times? Say I want an A-10 for LOMAC. I click the download link, then on the left menu has a breakdown of every category in the file area. I click the A-10 Skins subcatagory, that's two. I find the skin I want and click the link to look at the file (third click), then I download it. That's a total of four. The only way I can see it being any less clicks is a flat-file system, and then you would have to wade through a list of over 500 files to find what I want. So, what better system did you have in mind? As for re-register, again not sure what you mean. If you mean you have to register for the forums to have the ability to download, then I'll explain it this way. I have about a gig of mods for LOMAC and Project-1, and I pay for the storage and bandwidth from my own pocket. I feel it's a small thing for me to ask that in exchange for offering all those files, that people will in exchange come and participate in the Biohaz community.
  8. I am happy to announce BiohazCentral's new and VERY improved file area! If you haven't noticed already, there is a new link on the top right link menu labelled "Downloads". Click on it and take a look around. Some of the new features are: FULLY integrated with the forum user database. All your stats are linked to your forum account. Finally, and easy AND reliable upload mechanism, you can upload files up to 10Mb in size. If you have a larger file, please email me and we can work out other arrangements Uploaders can now manage all their uploads, such as uploading updated files, changing descriptions, etc. This is a great feature for modders, and keeps the multiple versions of the same file down. A new thread along with a screenshot (if uploaded) is created automatically in the associated sim forum announcing the new upload. This thread can be used for support and questions to the file author Screenshot upload support. In fact, in the skin catagories a screenshot is REQUIRED to upload. No more wondering what a file looks like. You can subscribe to files and receive notifications of updated files Automatic PM to a file submitter if their file is approved/denied (with option of PM, Email, Both, or None) Tons of backend stuff that only the mods and I care about, but suffice it to say it will be MUCH easier to manage the file area now. All existing files have been moved to the new system and all links now point to the new file area. I will leave the old system up for a week or so so remote links will still work, but then I will delete the old system. Please, try out the system and let me know if you run into any issues, and report broken links via the reporting link in each file page. Now that everything is in place, I ask that everyone start uploading your mods and skins! And spread the word that BiohazCentral's file area is THE place to get thos files you need.
  9. Thank God I'm not the only one having this issue, it's like the damn tires are filled with helium or something...
  10. NC, been thinking about you and hoping all was well. We'll be waiting for you when you return.
  11. As you have probably already noticed, the site layout made a step in the right direction yesterday, with the first phase in progress now. I still have much to do and there are more graphic and color changes in store over the coming few weeks. So for the time being we are "Under Construction". The goal for me is to get a lot more focus on our content, not only the news but our Reviews/Previews, something you will see a lot more of over the coming weeks and months. I want the front page to give you a clear concise picture of what's new at Biohaz, but not get too cluttered or busy. It's a fine line to walk, but we hope we'll get it right. And yes, the forum colors/layout will be changed to match the site once we get it nailed down. I know a lot of you are not fans of the current colors... If you have any comments or suggestions, feel free to post in this thread or send me a PM. While there's no way we can make everyone happy, I'll be happy to hear any comments on the redesign you might have.
  12. Welcome! Thank you for the kind words, they are always appreciated.
  13. I'm working on returning the latest threads module back on the main page, but it's going to be another week or so before it happens. The customized script I used to run to do that was not updated to run with the new InvisionBoard 2.0, so I'm going to have to do something on my own to make it work.
  14. The File Area is back in action for the time being. I still need to work on a long-term solution for storage, we are already sitting on close to 1Gb of LOMAC and Strike Fighters files. Anybody want to help chip in for a year of file hosting for us? I need about 80-100 bucks to get a decent-sized storage/bandwidth solution. Paypal donations are always welcome...
  15. Sorry PC, I replied on this on another thread. I'm currently reupping all the files to our web server as the old file server is no longer available. I got the files uploaded last night, and tonight when I get home I'll do the database changes. With luck, the downloads will be working again tonight.
  16. As soon as I get my copy I'll be doing in in-depth review for Biohaz, so hopefully in the next two weeks we'll get it posted.
  17. I would be the first to chip in the money... Being a Helosim junkie, I can't imagine a best flight sims list WITHOUT helos, especially when you look back at some of the best sims (period) include titles like Longbow 2 and EECH IMHO...
  18. I'm working on the downloads today, hopefully all will be online in the next 8 hours. I'm home with the flu today, so I have some time to work on it...
  19. This is an excellent idea. Give me a day or two to get something together.
  20. Beautiful job Wanks! We need to make that into a November calendar!
  21. The file area will be back onlin tomorrow. I had all our files hosted on a seperate webhost and I didn't renew this year. I'll get everything uploaded to our main site tomorrow.
  22. Geeks and movie buffs rejoice, for the Official Lord of the Rings website has the Return of the King: Extended Edition trailer up in Quicktime for you to view. There's a small version (4MB) and a larger version weighing in at 9MB. Lot's of great new footage!
  23. The third ball drawn was #5, and the winner is: Dagger! Congrats, and thank you all for playing. We'll have another giveaway in a few weeks, so be sure to check in for details.
  24. And that's a wrap folks. I'll lock the thread and I'll announce the winner in a few hours. Good luck to all! Damn, I just realized I screwed this up again. You can tell I never play Powerball. There are 53 balls in the powerball drawing, but there are only 42 balls in the powerball drum. Since I said I would take 53 players, this is what I'll do. I'll be watching the live drawing tonight and the number on the 3rd ball drawn will be the winner of the LOMAC manual. Sorry for the mixup people, but at least I figured it out BEFORE the drawing.
