This is perfect for intercept missions over European terrains. Once I got used to the crisp roll response, it's a fun gun platform in the Boom & Zoom role. Handles well at low & hi speeds, holds it's own in a dogfight with it's contemporaries, and looks sharp from any angle: It's an all around great addition to the game. -

Kill the Comm Building in the Timor terrain. Our escorts were an 8-flight oF-16's from the RNZAF. We got into the target area, but ran into a flight of PLAAF J-14's, 8 J-7's, and a pair of J-7III's. It devolved into a running fight amongst the terrain, and at the end of the mission, only 2 F-16's made it out.

There were some RAF Tornadoes in the area, and that must be who the SAMS were firing at, since they pretty much ignored us. Drop and skedaddle...... And I brought my #2 home as well.

Monday SUCKS, and I am apparently the world's WORST MiG pilot!!!! There I was, dead astern of an F-9, at a range where I SHOULD have been able to use a couple of rounds to make aluminum confetti out of this guy.........and I'm out of ammunition. And my wingman is an even worse shot than me. I just scrubbed the entire mission and went home.
