  1. I'm working on the Gen1 RF-4C package. Redoing all the decals to those historically used by the various units in the original package. RF-4C (SEA) (11th & 14th TRS) RF-4C (mostly AF, AFRES, ANG) RF-4C (EDA) RF-4C (Late - AF, ANG, etc) the spanish one is done, the SEA one is done, the "early" and late are still in the works I know Ant did the E and I think the IDF E's as well (have to check the downloads). I got the "as released" covered. I can list all the units, if you want DA
  2. I made an oooppssy!! This is NOT a Mirage 5 (per se). It's an Israeli version, built in house. It has been moved to the correct category, "Cold War Aircraft, Israeli made"
  3. View File SF2 TMF Nesher (IDF) Upgrade/Remod Pack SF2 TMF Nesher (IDF) Upgrade/Remod Pack 4/5/2024 -For SF2, Any and All-(SF2:I and/or Full 5 Merged Suggested) This is a full upgrade/remod pack for The Mirage Factory's Dassault Nesher as used by the Israeli Defense Force Air Force. Included in this package are 3 different skins: 101 Squadron (Camo) 253 Squadron (Camo) 117 Squadron (Camo w/Orange ID Triangles <1973) They are set up and labeled to cause NO conflicts with the Nesher available as stock within the game or any others that may exist. Skins remain in their original bmp format. Almost all markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. All decals used are stock, in game items (you don't need SF2I for these) As you can see above, the SF2 date switch is active for the later, "Orange ID Triangle" skin. 101 & 253 Squadrons share the same start date (no actual date listed), meaning they're avaliable from the initial date of service, and are available to choose from the drop down menu. All necessary items are provided, weapons (drop tanks), pilots, seats, sounds, effects, and so forth. Some, you've probably got already!!! When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown you'll see: Nesher S (TMF) So you can't mistake them for anything other than TMF Birds (tm). This also means, there'll be NO conflict with the other Neshers, of mods thereof, out there. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included. The 'Change Log' is, as always, in the Notes section below. Happy Landings! 5. Oh, I wouldn't say that ... (both vehicles from the 94th)
  6. what is it .... ansi (sf1) and unicode (sf2), if i remember correctly. SF2 reads both, sf1 only reads ansi, again, iirc
  7. Neither the WEaponsdata nor gundata are required anymore, especially for add on or edited weapons. Hence, the creation of seperate sub-folders in the /Weapons folder This is clearly stated in the Knowledge Base on "Editing weapons" or some such title. Might want to give that a look see. Also might want to read up in the KB on "how the extractor works". Because they ALL do. Odd the Utilities instlled in the base install; mine installed to the root of the SavedGames/ThirdWire. Having mods, in any amount will NOT effect how the editors works.
  8. Happy April 1st!!
  9. As part of your continuing training and pilot education, we have a special test for you today. As you can see, the maintainers have repainted all the gauge faces, so NONE of the numbers can be seen. It is your task, not only to remember which gauge is where, but what the information the gauge is displaying. To do this, you'll be flying a full circuit around the base. Engine start, taxi, takeoff, fly the pattern, and land. You'll taxi back to the parking slot you started from. Have a safe flight. Happy April Fools Day!!!
  10. yeah, the board software does that when it wants to!!! Possibly due to demons in code; you know how it is
  11. Lady Gaga's Train with After-bras???
  12. just breaking in here ... just curious as to HOW you can fire a radar guided missile from an aircraft that DON'T have an air intercept radar???? Without a human player in the Fitter's cockpit to "attempt' a lock and fire the IR missile, there's not real way to recreate the actual event. And as SF2 has no multiplayer... Sorry to put ice water on the idea, but there you have it. Editing the missile, hardpoints aren't gonna work no matter what.
  13. Dude, that is ABSOLUTELY perfect!!! It should look like the ones from the show!!! <<---DUff beer Thank you, come again!!
  14. now, we just need a Quikie Mart, too ... ducks and runs .....................................................................................>
  15. Louis Gossett Jr passes away at 87

    Excellent actor, a sad loss
  16. View File SF2 TMF Mirage IIICZ (SAAF) by PCG Upgrade/Remod Pack SF2 TMF Mirage IIICZ (SAAF) by PCG Upgrade/Remod Pack 3/24/2024 -For SF2, Any and All-(Full 5 Merged Suggested) Found in the Archives! Didn't even know there WAS a TMF version! But here it is!!! :) This is a full upgrade/remod pack for The Mirage Factory's Dassault Mirage IIICZ by PCG as used by the South AFrican Air Force. Even though there is =NOT= a stock 3W Mirage IIICZ per se, this is set up and labeled to cause =NO= conflicts with any (other) Mirages available for the game (including the version built by Ludo M.54 from a stock 3W Mirage). Skins remain in their original bmp format. All necessary items are provided, weapons, pilots, seats, sounds, effects, and so forth (most weapons used ARE stock 3W items, with few exceptions). This is a "nationalized" single-user only aircraft. This aircraft is supplied with 3 skins: "NMF"- as originally delivered "Camo1" - Tan/Green (<1971) "Lo-Viz" - 2-tone Blue & Grey (~1982) All 16 CZs served with No.2 Squadron, “Flying Cheetahs”. All skins use the same 'pool' of 16 ID/serial numbers. As can be expected, the SF2 Date Switch (tm) is active, and the LoViz skin starts in 1982 (best guess! based upon Ludo's Mirage F1CZ_Late). Also, the Date Switch is used on the Loadout ini, as newer missiles become available. When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown you'll see: Mirage IIICZ (TMF) So you can't mistake them for anything else but TMF Birds (tm). As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included. The 'Change Log' is, as always, in the Notes section below. As an Extra Added Bonus (tm), I've included a bunch of PDFs I found online, documenting the Development & History of the Mirage III & its variants in SAAF service. They are OUTSTANDING docs, and were the basis for some of the changes I've implemented here. Well worth the read! Happy Landings! 18. Fantasy Model Box Art ...

There's a whole series of these, the "what if these movie/tv/book vehicles were model kits. This one just came out today. I'm sure most of you will be familiar with most of them But MY favorite, is the airliner near the end . I would BUY this today if it was real. and I haven't built a model since the 1980s!!!! I reccomend watching the others, too. They're great fun!!
  19. Smile you dogs!!! When we take you picture, we capture your soul!!!! and yes, after the TMF Mirage Family, these are next
  20. Similiar to what I did with the U-2, in adding the (visual) drift sight in place of the radar screen (as it uses the 104's pit) Nicely done!!!
  21. Congratulations Coupi
