View File SF2 Lockheed L-1049G Super Constellation Airliner Skin Pack 2 SF2 Lockheed L-1049G Super Constellation Airliner Skin Pack 2 5/20/2020 -For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended) This package contains 2 new airliner skins for the civilian Super Constellation. You can find the original aircraft package at the following URL: https://combatace.com/files/file/17424-sf2-lockheed-l-1049-super-constellation-pack-by-russouk/ The airline companies represented here are: Northwest Orient (4 aircraft) BOAC (12 aircraft) While many (ie: most) markings are painted on, a large majority are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE. All registration numbers are 100% historically correct. This should give some nice eye candy parked around your airfields in the mid 1950s and early 1960s. As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. Happy Landings! 3. it's 'in game' and flys., i'm sure some FM refinements might be necessary. It needs more animations*, and mapping. right now, it's just the max material for "skin". maybe pylons and whatnots. uses the late-model F cockpit from KAW (the imported one) *all control surfaces work, canopy animation needs adding. each landing gear is it's own seprete one -which seems odd; shouldn't they be linked together??
  4. Is FE2 Demo moddable?

TK has never released a demo for ANY of the games that I've seen. Also, given the way that site is set up, and it's download link, I'd be VERY wary of "something else" coming down with the game.
  5. I've been telling people that I've had Zur's MAX files for the F-86H since (at least!!!) 2015. Haven't had ANY takers yet
  6. added the skid first, and removed the hit box from the tail section. just so everyone knows, the statements listed above were taken right from the 3W Hawkeye, upon with the Greyhound is based
  7. It's already there... next idea???
  8. You all know Fat Albert, right?? Well, here's his older sister, "Skinny Connie"
  9. well, it looks like the drogue pods are seperate meshes, and therefore removable via the ini trick
  10. also, don't forget to 'associate' the file name (.tga) with an imaging program. I did that a million years ago, and never had an issue with PS opening tgas * *well, excepting PS 7. still don't know why the alpha vanishes! isn't there a patch for that??
  11. I good! I've been sitting the VC10 for months, waiting for a skin! Now, if someone can point me to serial number listings ....
  12. What exactly is the procedure for importing , converting and releasing FS** skins for use with the same freeware aircraft we have here?? Need a little guidence here.. In particular, the Super Connie airliner that Russ & I did. I finally figured out (most) of the mapping differences, and was able to redo 2 skins I found through massive searching (apparently there's more than one L-1049G Super Connie around and they're not even close to each other!!!) There was no read me for any of the skins I found, although the zip was called "ALPHA_Constellation_Set_FS9". It contained the EC/RC 121s & TWA we already have, plus BOAC and Lufthansa (see below). So, how does one credit the original creators? Providing there's a way to give proper credits, where can I find the Quantas and Air France skins??? I know they exist. I think these would make excellent eye candy for the 1950s. thanks!
  13. well, i can send you skin if want to steal the windows
  14. that's really odd, because when flying for the US Navy , all I ever gotten is carrier based missions. And, yes all single, game generated missions. From the 1st day of installation
  15. you're about 6-7 years too late. Spinners has been doing that since the beginning. there's even some in the d/l section
  16. it's actually just those 2 airlines, Air France and KLM for our European bases and CA members (ie: GermanyCE). The problem is there's not that many for the alphasim model. Lots for the others, especially for the earlier 749 and 049 Connies. DA: The difference is, these skins are already set up -- just minor fill-in painting required to decals can be used for registration numbers. For the most part, on several I DID have to repaint the windows. on the Northwest Orient shown below, the original skin actually has CURTAINS in the windows!!!!
  17. hey, look who's here!! hiya Dave!!
  18. oh man! that DTXbmp did the trick! Got 2 other skins converted. Pity nobody has done Air France or KLM for the alphasim Connie....(sadface)
  19. dosen't the first placard say "No Handball Playing on this Fuselage"???

SF2 Yak-25 Series Upgrade Pack -For SF2 =ONLY= (Any & All) The package provided all new data inis for the following Yak-25 series aircraft, by Pasko: Yak-25B "Brewer" Yak-25K "Flashlight" Yak-25M "Flashlight" These incorporate a new FM, that is more more SF2 compliant, and solves a few problems lingering for the last 15 years or so. All hit boxes have been adjusted. This package is Data inis =ONLY=, not complete aircraft. Backup copies of the originals are all included, as for the usual "just in case" sort of thing. The aircraft this pack is for are listed below. These are all the revamps by Flogger23: https://combatace.com/files/file/14434-yak-25b-flashlight-b-revamp/ https://combatace.com/files/file/14433-yak-25k-flashlight-a-revamp/ https://combatace.com/files/file/14432-yak-25m-flashlight-a-revamp/ As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein (I'd forgotten I had this, and hadn't uploaded it!! Enjoy)
  21. SF2 Yak-25 Series Upgrade Pack

Been waiting; i know your's will be a VAST improvement!!!
  22. found templates for the Alphasim Connie, but they're layer-less. So, I had to build my own. unfortunately, 99% of the skins I've downloaded are not for the alphasim model. and the one or 2 have found are so corrupted, no image program can open them (5 different ones, including MS paint!!). I have a BOAC skin to finish, and that might be it. Unless I become a better texture artist than I am for KLM and Air France
  23. russ, we may also need the He-111 cockpit too. Veltro is working the 111H model !!!horraay!!!
