SupGen, Quite possible that's what I did, but the way I jump from one project to another, I can't remember it that's it. When I get time, I'll delete the SovietNavy from the install and try different strike mission dates. Be careful with all that thinking, might cause headaches and confusion. (At least that's what I use as a reason not to think.)

SupGen. Got it back to launching from carriers and striking land targets, thanks. To answer your questions: 1. I had added USN to GermanyCE_Nations.ini but it was and is at 009. I also added USMC, ROYALNAVY, FRENCHNAVY and AustralianNAVY as 010 - 013. All those Navies launch from carriers. AND 2. Yes, I had added a WaterMap with CZ defined. The thing that seems to have put me back on land is your suggestion to add SovietNavy to the EnemyNations at 002. Thanks for the fix. To bad it doesn't also randomly assign carrier group targets.

I'm running all 5+2 merged game installs. My SF2 Europe is started from the Exp2.exe file. I enabled Naval operations in my Europe install. Until recently Navy strike missions would launch from carriers and strike land targets. Now ALL strike missions, Navy or otherwise, ONLY strike carrier battle groups. If I disable NavalMap=True in my GermanyCE.ini file, I can strike land targets, but no carrier launches. Anyone know what caused this and is there a way to keep naval ops in a Europe install and be able to strike land targets? Thanks for any help, Geary

Cocas, I promise to try to track who deserves credit for the skins and decals I use on these What If planes for uploading. In the meantime, if there is a particular skin you want, PM me and I'll see if I can compile all the parts for it for you. Geary -

Navy FJ-3M Blue Camo (I know. The Fury didn't have 6 50cal guns, but this is the best LOD for the Sabre/Fury I have and the gun ports are built into the LOD.) -
Thanks Guys, I'll look into these and get back to you. EDITED: Got the plyons on the MiG-15 using the F-79 plyons/fake pilot method. Tried the MiG-17AS F6WP pylons but couldn't figure out how to adjust them on the wings. Will try the MiG-17AS method with the MiG-17A. I want missiles on that plane, too. Thanks, again.

I've added AA-2 Atoll missiles to a MiG-15. The missiles show up as selectable in the Loadout screen and they show up on the plane. I rearanged the weapons stations info in the planes data.ini file to get the missiles to show up separately from the drop tanks. I've also listed them in the weapons stations in the loadout.ini file. But two things escape me. First, I can't figure out how to add plyons/rails to the plane for the missiles. I've tried adding different plyons and rails in the weapons stations modelnodename= entry but none show up. Second, the missles don't have a separate selectable weapons station in the loadout screen. I have to select either tanks or missiles. But they load in different places on the wings. So... how do I get plyons on the wings and how do I get separate selectable weapons stations in the loadout screen. Thanks for any help.

Yeah, I know what you mean. As long as the USAF is there for close air support when you need them, let them keep the cas mission and planes. Wonder if they want one of these Hornets? -

Eric, Luckily I'm using the decal system to accessorize these planes. I can always give the Hornet back to the Navy. Maybe the Army would like a plane? -

koplax, If you have the A-7E installed in the same game that the bomber is installed or if you have merged installs, try adding or changing the following line in your heavy bomber.ini file: AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.dll AvionicsDataFilename=F-7E_avionics.ini You must be able to access the A-7E avionics.ini file from the same install if you use this method. Otherwise, you must put the A-7E avionics.ini file in your heavy bomber folder.

Very Nice. Fills a need very well. Thanks. -
duke_sc, To fix your CatFile you need to point your Terrain CatFile= line to GermanyCE.cat since you loaded this install over WoE. Go into your Korea install Terrain Folder and then into your Korea folder. Find your Korea.ini file and save a copy of it. Open your Korea.ini file and make sure your CatFile= line is like the example below: [Terrain] TerrainFullName=Korea DataFile=korea_data.INI TargetFile=korea_targets.INI TargetTypeFile=korea_types.INI MovementFile=korea_movement.INI NationsFile=korea_nations.INI BriefingText=korea_briefing.INI DogfightFile=korea_dogfight.INI DogfightOnly=FALSE CatFile=..\GermanyCE\GermanyCE.cat <<<<<<<< Like this. Let me know if this works.
