From what I have read Jug, it was a Foxbat that scored the kill, and also a MiG-25 killed a Predator drone as well. The Foxbat was the elite of the elite in the Iraqi AF, since the MiG-29s were so scarce, and mainly the MiG-29s were to protect Baghdad.

Relax man, he means that Navy and USMC F-4Ss didnt use that camo pattern. They stuck with grey patterns, not camo, helos used camo, but not Phantoms, from what I have seen.

If he is flying that tomcat he isnt, cause Iraqis never flew Tomcats, Iran and the US are the only ones to ever have em. If u mean the Mirage 5DE, well, Iraq didnt have them either, Iraq had F-1 EQ 500s and were working with France to get Mirage 2000s and working with Russia to get SU-27 Flankers.

USMC Hornet, And i seriously doubt that they are gonna replace the F-18, and it sounded like a D model, from what they described, as a 2 seater, since the Bs from my understanding are all gone but i could be wrong on that. As far as I know we only have Cs and Ds. Like everyone said above, it happens with aviation, luckily the pilot punched and was ok and the families were ok. Its not like MCAB Miramar is gonna be BRACed and the F-18Cs and Ds all scrapped. As we all know like I said, it happens, so dont worry.
