  1. My bet would be a Korean War sim, using the planes from the Suez addon. My hope is Fleetdefender 2, but that is not going to happen.
  2. Dave, you seem to be a BUFF expert, do you happen to know if this is a good book? I'm thinking of buying it. http://ultra.glo.be/daco/KDCB023.html
  3. Could it be that the SF2 ini files are in Unicode, something WOx series can not read. So what you are basically doing is saving them as ASCII files with a detour.
  4. To prevent it from showing up, you can change the StationGroupID and AttachmentPosition to a station you still use.
  5. True, I would love to see a F3, my favorite Lightning.
  6. Amazing! A quick question, is the T-38 also used for weapons training by the USAF?
  7. AFAIK part of LTV is now Lockheed-Martin missiles and the other part is in Northrop-Grumman.
  8. Only way I know of is shutting down the engines with Ctrl+I.
  9. Could be, I'm not sure. The RNlAF fitted the rails to the outboard pylons of the Hunter F4/F6, I don't know if and were the Danish fitted their Sidewinders. Rails not loaded here:
  10. The Dutch airforce did, although Hunters were replaced Starfighters by 1968.
  11. And now for something completely different...

    Sir...........

    Ah, buckle this!
  14. Surely, the actual designs are not on computers connected to the net?
  15. IIRC we used the K models, lots of pictures here milspotters.nl
  16. The new demo paint job looks real good! Here's another good photo: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Netherlands...ting/1507348/L/, my new desktop Do you know the date the show aired? I'd like to watch it on uitzendinggemist.nl.
  17. I will thank you and the rest of the Mirage Factory team anyway. Thank you for yet another excellent addition, the cockpit is just amazing.
  18. The auto throttle (not auto pilot) apparently got a false altitude reading from the left hand Radio Altimeter, actual altitude was 1950ft (as right hand RA indicated) but it reported an altitude of -8ft. The pilots noticed this, but did not think this was a problem (from CVR). The auto throttle however reduced the power to idle to prepare for the flare, as though it was just some feet above the runway. The throttles remained at idle untill the stick shaker engaged and stall alarm went off, by then they were too slow and low to recover. The further investigation will focus on faulty radar altimeter / auto throttle interaction and pilot reactions. Personally, I find it strange the pilots did not notice the reducing speed untill they stalled.
  19. That's not true. The sale is allowed, although forbidden by law. Production is still forbidden except for medicinal use AFAIK. So coffeeshops have to get their marijuana from criminals. It's a weird situation.
