capun The weapons I am currently using are still very high poly count. I think they are the second ones you sent. The 76 mm I modded to match the profile view, which was just dragging the the lower vertythingys down to the deck and leaving the gun barrel at the correct height. If you got new weapons go head and send them I think I am using the first missle luancher and 76 mm, and the second Phalanax. I will add the turrents and send the new model to you. Cheers Beer -

15 Nov Update, in game shots, excuse the graphics, since updating the latest driver, I have not tweaked the settings for best in game graphics. Things to do 1. Delete the hidden polys. 2. Get someone to Unwrap it so the maps are on one BMP vice the several I got going now. 3. Map it with the final coat of paint, current map is still rough. 4. Minor tweaks Here is the Max Render Cheers Beer -

I can host it (as can BioHaz). Got the upper deck handrails to go, and I need to poly down the weapons. Unwrapping and putting the skin on one map I will need help with, then the final skin. Cheer Beer -

Fast Eagle 12 years in the Navy! Maybe our paths crossed as I to was an Naval Aviator. Which AI class where you in? What commands have you been attached to? What was the source of your commission? What did you get out as? I did not retire I took the VSI/SSB a few years back. 12 year retirement? 15 was the least I was aware of and that was mostly for the E's in overmanned NEC's. The only thing I can think of for a 12 year retirement is a Medical Discharge with disability and that of course is not "retirement". Your comment "I am a Retarded...I mean Retired Sailor" also indicates that you don't seem to be proud of your accomplishment (as most would be). I recall your post from the carrier this Winter/Spring, I find it odd that someone could surf the web and make posts from a Combatant engaged in tactical warfare. That would be a Comm O's nitemare, not to mention the security issues. Email likely send a designated times but unhithered internet access from a ship at war? I have internet on my ship and I have unhindered access, but we are not combatants engaged in tactical operations. Just curious...some of this seems a little outta wack. Things sure seemed to have changed since I got out. Cheers Beer

The Phalanax is WAY to detailed, 4000 polys ma thingys!, The dome should be toned down too, the barrels maybe 5 sided cylinders (maybe even 3 as small as they are). The axis's for the guns and missiles set up? I tried rotating some of the stuff and it was bad! Anyway here is what I got so far. Cheers Beer -

LOL Chief! The NavAir one from Seawolf would make a good Combat Aircrew Patch! Looking foward to the Flight Deck 3 showing up this week for some traps with FS2004. Cheers Beer

No the carrier will not be functional, TK has replied that it requires coding that is not currently in SFP-1. He is of course working on the Patch (enough people have verified this, please do not turn the thread into a where's the patch thread), it seems to be slow going so I would not count on landable carriers with SFP-1 :( Maybe one day SFP-2 will be in work under a new Publisher and feature Naval Aviation :D With the A-7 out I hope to tweak the Forrestal a bit, and get the FFG-7 done with Capun. The closest I think I can come is a PHM, a FFG and the Forrestal formation steaming and practicing visual approaches. My Naval Aviation Fixes for just flying around will be Chiefs recommendation of Flight Deck 3 (its on the way). When I wanna blow things up I will use the A-7, F-4 and A-4 from AD/column5 and the stock SFP-1 planes. Cheers Beer

Under 5000' water depth(for drilling so far), the ship is rated to drill in 10,000' we will be just over that with some special equipment added to the ship. The deepest I have worked is 13,440' when I was a Dynamic Positioning Officer and we did wreck investigation on the M/V Derbyshire (the Derbyshire is a feature on the history channel :)). We had an ROV that photographed the wreckage. The special on the history channel was filmed on the visits after we did the initial find and investigation. I dont drive the sub or anything I just keep the ship on station. CHeers Beer

I may be able to host a teamspeak server for Bio, and I am interested in a Fun fly for MSFS 2004. I will be availible after 6 Nov or so. Cheers Beer

LOL that was shot on a competitors rig, it was a Global Semisubmersible (don't know which one), we are rated to drill to 35,000'. We have not gone 35,000' yet but we have done one to 5 miles and another at 6 miles of drill depth (that does include water depth). Cheers Beer

Today we are moving my Drillship to a new Location off Texas, look for my ship to make some drilling news as we break the world record for water depth as Ultra Deep Water drilling breaks the 10,000' mark, with our partners ChevronTexaco. The previous record is held by our sister ship the Discoverer Spirit 9700' and some change. We are gonna show the Spirit that "Penetration is our business", and we do it "faster, deeper and with more thrust" (T shirt slogan I was trying to get approved, but it was declined for some reason???). Cheers Beer

I have two 2.7 AMD machines sitting side by side... One has a GF FX 5600 256 in it the other has a ATI Radeon 9800 Pro. Side by side in a multiplayer game (Nascar 2003, Quake 3, or Strike Fighters) the Radeon 9800 Pro looks better without a doubt. But they both look really great, and the Radeon was if I remember right about $100+ (clock speed faster) more. But I think you would be happy with either, just a budget issue. Cheers Beer
