OK I am off to work so I may have time now to play with the FFG... Here is what I propose, You work with the weapons (remodel the Guns and missile launchers and I will work on the Superstructure and mapping... Here is a question...Can we use decals like the Planes so that the ships have different hull numbers??? I have no idea how to do it but it seems like it should be very possible... Cheers Beer
-
Very cool! So the Missiles work on one model and the other has the midships 5" working... A great mission would be CAP over the FFG's and a watch the ships engage the MIGS with guns and missiles. Model and Mapping needs tweaking. Cheers Beer

New imagine if you will a Plane Guard... In this case a Oliver Hazard Perry Class Frigate... Cesar Pun and Beer looking at bringing you this one... This sim has so much potential! Just imagine the combatants that professional graphic artists could make for this game! Cheers Beer
-
Well that was ugly... Tried to install and WinXP told me it was not a Win32 application... Tried compatability mode and that failed...Sorry no joy on Fleet Command here... Cheers Beer

I got it like you been a while...I will reload it and see how it goes ;) Cheers Beer

Someone say "Cold One" :P NavSim Editor is going to be a welcome challenge, I am, as the other staff members here at Biohaz, passionate about simming, from FPS, Air Combat, Naval Combat, to Nascar, I just want a great gaming expierence! I am a die hard Multiplayer fan for just about any game. My background as a former Naval Officer conducting Maritime Patrols and Coordinated Ops with Carrier Battlegroups with missions ranging from ASW, ASUW, to SAR; combined with my present day life as a professional Merchant Marine Officer, gives me a insider perspective to NavSims which I hope to bring to you. I look forward to sharing with the members of Biohazcentral my insights to what interest all of us here...that being Gaming! Cheers Beer

I scored a 5500 2003 3D mark "stock" with the following ASUS A7N8X 2700 AMD T Bred Processor 1 gig 3500 matched OCZ Ram Radeon 9800 Pro Preventer was able to get 6000 with this same system but with the ABIT NF-70S rev 1.2. I had to ditch that ABIT board becuase it would not run in my garage with room temps of 85-90 degree's F. Cheers Beer

It is in production, my last time home I took some footage and what not to get a feel for what I wanted in the next one. This one will not be just sitting in front of the webcam and will likely feature a 1999 Corvette convertible, a black cowboy hat, some cutouts of Daisy and Elvira, and a 300 pound ham ;) For those who have no idea what we are talking about here is a link to the first video http://www.retrorelics.net/jim/FilesDL/Beer.WMV Cheers Beer

Imagine CV Flight Ops in SFP-1. Of course you can not land or take off from it, but here is a little 6 meg Vid of a VF-84 F-4B playing around the carrier. Best bet is to "save as" before viewing, but it will stream. http://www.retrorelics.net/jim/FilesDL/CV59sept1.wmv This Vid made with FRAPS Cheers Beer

How about a follow up with multiplayer (be happy to help and fly wit ya) and addons (particularily the Navy ones we like Seawolf!). Cheers Beer

I am partial to Pete's Wicked Ales...one of my favorites is a Petes Wicked Strawberry Blonde... From my personal selective samplings...I have found Strawberry Blondes go down very smooth! 8) Cheers Beer

As Usual we disagree. I happen to like Corona... I am looking forward to my chopper ride to Leeville LA this coming Friday in the early AM, this will link me to my Van ride to the New Orleans Airport during which we stop at the Texaco and buy our first beer in weeks (thank God there are no laws for buying beer in the AM!)...mine will be 2 Coronas chased down with a couple Sausage Biscuits while I enjoy the scenery of the Louisanna bayou's enroute to the N.O Airport. Nuthin like an Ice Cold Corona on the way to the house after a few weeks on the rig. If you did not like your fingers getting sticky from the Lime (did ya float the Lime?), try Tequizza...the Lime is built in. Cheers Beer

Whats the source of that info? Thats just great if it true! Could be a productive gaming time this time home. Hope multiplayer is SH. Cheers Beer

I am a multiplayer fan... I long for those Quake 2/3, HalfLife, Janes USAF multiplayer games that multiplayer worked outta the box and was filled with fast furious combat. I miss being on comms with the ODB in an intense fight that was challenging and immensely fun... Half Life 2's release date is/was 30 Sept, whats the lastest intel? I have read that it is believed to be delayed (source: planet half-life)...however Sept 30 is just around the corner. Maybe a title will be on time, and on Par with its promises???? Who has some intel? A hot game potentally two weeks around the corner??? Cheers Beer

New Knights Over Europe Interview at SimHQ!
Beer replied to ArgonV's topic in WWI Flight Sim Discussion
If multiplayer works outta the box...I'll buy it :D With the way the modern Sims are going this may be a welcome change! Cheers Beer -
Dont know anything about them, however we have been victim at our own ODB forums of what we call "Forum Fires" (Operator induced errors at the Admin level DOOH)...It may not have been intentional...And the growing pains of learning the forum software on their end. Besides Armand and I still love ya! Cheers Beer
-
Yep...Drew Carey and Ron Jermey are cool... Moore is not worthy of mention IMHO. Cheers Beer

My thoughts on the demo, feel free to disagree
Beer replied to PG_Raptor's topic in General Discussion
Yes, it will be ready when it is ready...just like a quality Lager Did not sign the petition. All I want is a Game to work in Multiplayer right out of the Box. Petes Wicked Fan here Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm nothing like a Petes while surfing the ol' Boards. Cheers Beer -
Half the year "Penetration" is my business, I ensure the drillship goes nowhere fast, if anywhere at all. Collateral duties include that there is Love, Peace, and Harmony between the various Departments on the Drillship, lastly I feel obligated to ensure that the food is fit for consumption for my crew (the more you eat the more you make???). The other half of the year I Beta Beer Test, currently I pretty much play Petes Wicked Seasonal Beers, my favorite maps are Petes Wicked Strawberry Blonde, and Petes Wicked Winter Ale. The downside is this type of testing is pay as you play... :? I am sidelining for some video stuff...but there is not that much demand for Fat White guys...seems Drew Carey and Ron Jeremy have the Niche locked up. From my Signature, the P-3 on the Left represents my NAVCOM/TACCO Days with the Navy, the center my Beer Beta testing and gaming days, and the right is My Drillship days. (Thanks Fates for making the Banner) Cheers Beer

Finally got around to putting up some pics from the Dayton Airshow. Currently most of the pics are from BUFF, this site will be work in progress for a few weeks but you can check out the Dayton Airshow here. http://www.retrorelics.net/jim/dayton2003/ Sample I quite taken with this shot! She is just beautiful! I have always loved the White with Red Letter paint scheme on the Budweiser Trucks! Sorry the frame sizes are huge, some of the shots are excellent and I did not want to reduce there size. Cheers Beer

I believe Jeff has been fair and was spot on how it is being handled. As a veteran I am saddened by suched behavior on Ranger's part. Truely the community has been tolerable of the "bandwith and post stealing", and Jeff was gracious and assumed that the lying would end after the first Ban and gave him a second chance. It did not take long for the old ways to show up again. The PWarrior post is a sick way to draw attention to himself and create "entertainment" for him. Boards don't ban people, people ban themselves with the values they present to the audience. Beer
