  10. View File [Fictional] Hawker Hunter FR.13 RAF Fighter-Recce Hawker Hunter FR.13 for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 This is a very simple mod of the stock Third Wire Hawker Hunter FGA.9 to give a fictional Hawker Hunter FR.13 fighter-reconnaissance aircraft as it might have appeared in service with the Royal Air Force during the 1960's to early 1970's period. Of course during this time the RAF did successfully operate the Hunter FR.10 in the fighter-reconnaissance role but I'm unable to replicate the nose camera (with the eyelids) and the side cameras so this FR.13 just has side cameras reproduced by using a simple 'camera port' decal. Anyway, 'what if' markings are included for; No.2 Squadron in standard RAF Camo. No.79 Squadron in standard RAF Camo. No.208 Squadron in Desert Camo to reflect that squadrons long associations with the Middle East. INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the Hunter13 folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the Hunter13 folder into your Decals folder. That's it! CREDITS As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim. And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community. 13. I haven't used a weapons editor since SF2 came out in Dec 2008 and don't think that I could ever go back. Save yourself the heartache go for drag and drop folders.
  14. Hawker Hunter FR.13 - No.208 Squadron, Royal Air Force, 1972 Baltika's Iceland Terrain is superb and so are the airfields!
  15. For Baltika... De Havilland Vampire FB.5 - No.603 (City Of Edinburgh) Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force, 1956
  16. Hawker Hunter FR.13 - No.79 Squadron, Royal Air Force, 1974
  17. Lovely shot Carlo.
  18. Crikey. I've never seen a Thunderstreak with a probe before!
  19. Never tried ATI but NVidea has never let me down and I'll almost certainly go NVidea for next years new 'play' PC.
  20. Downloading now but posting thanks now. Cheers mate!
  21. It would help if you could tell us what graphics software you are using but I hope the following helps. For GIMP then, assuming your layered template is OK then it's EDIT> COPY VISIBLE then open up a new file FILE>NEW (which should automatically be to the same size) EDIT>PASTE, LAYER>ANCHOR LAYER and then LAYER>REMOVE ALPHA CHANNEL (only if, like me, you use transparency as default) and then finally FILE>SAVE AS XXXXXXXXXXXX.BMP
  22. Camera Port decal added.
  23. Hawker Hunter FGR.9 - No.2 Squadron, Royal Air Force, 1974 Sadly, the nose camera is just a bit of phototrickery. Perhaps I could make a decal? Even better, perhaps TK will make us an FR.10!! (After all, it did serve with two squadrons of RAF Germany and was exported to Jordan).
