  1. Yeah, I've had that happen in SF2.
  2. Yes! It was me who told you!
  3. I don't quite understand.
  4. Hawker Tornado prototype. The REAL Real Tornado!
  5. Oooh, shiny 12!
  6. Quite a persistant rumour... but clearly a fake.
  7. Sorry I can't help specifically with Corel Paint Shop Pro X (I use The Gimp) but when I was struggling to grasp it I went to The Simmers Paint Shop and asked a question there. Indeed, it might be worth a look just in case there is a tutorial already there.
  8. Good work. perhaps this will help me get the Third Wire A-6A sorted. I've ported it over to SF2 (together with the F-8E, F-105D and F-104G) and whilst it flies really well it has got white cockpit syndrome . I'll look into this tomorrow.

As we're on the verge of wishing the RAF a Happy 100th Birthday (April 1st, 1918) I'm updating my RAF squadron marking decals for you to use on absolutely whatever you want - be it factual, fictual, historical or hysterical. As a keen 'what-iffer' I 'd especially like to see them appear where the shouldn't! So break out the Century Series, Mirages, MiGs and Sukhois and get 'whiffing' and remember to post your screenshots! I'd love to see them! This decal set is also in the Series 2 section and that will be the one that gets updated from hereon in. Regards Spinners

Are you fed up of debris flying up in the air and spoiling your screenshot, or not matching your paint scheme (or your navigator's eyes)? Then use 'Debris Gone' and banish debris today! OK. As an unexpected request, here is a simple replacement for the stock DEBRIS.tga which you can put into your Flight folder and remove flying debris. The original DEBRIS.tga will remain safe and snug in your CAT files so if you don't like you can just delete it and your game is back to normal. If you haven't got a flight folder then just put my Flight folder into your main folder (not in your Objects folder - go up one level). Special thanks to Migbuster for giving me the idea. Regards Spinners

  13. Yes, from the MAP. Presumably to make it harder - and I can see how it would, as I'm often looking at the map to see what's what and who's where.
  14. It sounds like Falcon 4 is the game for you. Thank you and goodbye.
  15. Er, you don't. I described what I did and you do the same.
  16. As an example, this... [Decal005] MeshName=fusoliera DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat=G91R1/Skin_5 AB/D/num Position=-1.2,-0.05 Scale=1.6 DecalMaxLOD=2 Becomes this; [Decal005] MeshName=fusoliera DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat=num Position=-1.2,-0.05 Scale=1.6 DecalMaxLOD=2
  17. (This is one option) With SF2 you can create a decals folder (inside your objects folder) and just put them in there. Your decal.ini will then just need to point to the decal [Decal001] MeshName=Tail DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=8RoundelBars Position=-3.800,0.000 Scale=2.5 DecalMaxLOD=4
  18. I love storming in at low-level and blasting cargoships, fuel tanks, parked Badgers and the suchlike but the 'flying debris' (see below) really annoys me and spoils a good screenshot too! So I've extracted the DEBRIS.tga and reduced it to 1% opacity and pasted into my newly created flight folder in SF2. Debris... time to fade you out! Many thanks to MiGBuster for giving me the idea over at the Third Wire forums where someone else wanted to get rid of the enemy planes on the map.
  19. F-104G Starfighter of No.331 Squadron of the Royal Norwegian Air Force seen at low-level during a deployment to Dhimar as part of the UN coalition forces in 1969. Interesting stuff; http://www.starfighter.no/web/life331.html I ported over the F-104G from WOV to SF2 this afternoon and was looking for a suitable skin and hgbn's superb RNAF fitted the bill nicely!
  20. Go straight to The Knowledge Base.
  21. (Warning: This post contains cliches) Having a Buccaneer of any description will be fantastic and having three S.2 variants is the icing on the cake. I'm over the moon! I'd like to thank Russo for his generosity and also thank everyone at the GMG for picking up the ball and running with it. Superb teamwork! Incidentally, there was some strong West German interest in the Buccaneer and I've heard it said that it was the UK governments lack of interest in further development of the Buccaneer that put the Bonn government off. I guess I'm hinting that the GMG would be quite entitled to do a Marineflieger 'what if' that actually has an air of authenticity.
