I think show missile=true means the missles are shown at the model (so the correct value for a missle launched from a "tube" should be "false"?)... You don't need it to see the missle inflight.

So you're used to extensive verification, too? It would be pretty bad to have bugs in those systems... Well, I think a modern aircraft should have at least one MFD (for things like map, tactical situation,...) - but if it degenerated to a lightshow you just confuse the pilot (too much information can be as bad as to little information)! Nice video! (I didn't understand a word, but the footage was great - except of the table at the beginning of the video...)

As far as I remember only the computer voice in Voyager! She was "Number One" in the first pilot, nurse Chapel in Star Trek and Laxwanna (or similar...) Troi - Deanna's mother - in ST-TNG and DS9!

There is one thing crossing my mind, especially when it comes to flying/driving "nazi" planes/tanks but also the equipment of any other nation): It is important to remember, that not all soldiers of a country share its "current ideology" - many of the german pilots/soldiers/tank drivers/... where no nazis - they were just soldiers for their country (like it is with many other nations...)! But I am sure many of them were - you just can't distinguish them from the outside... Sorry for getting political...

I think what Stiglr means is: If you cannot even leave ideology and nationalism behind if you PLAY, it will only get worse in RL... ...and I think he is right! I like to fly with the Luftwaffe in IL-2 - because I like the Me 109 and especially the FW 190! But I loved to fly the I-16, too (even with its poor armour...)! And was really sad the French side only offers soviet fighters...
