Pivot problems

That is something I really understand - it would be a real problem (mathematical) to define that movement: which order of movement, rotate on rotated axis or not, ... I really miss it -
You want to play a FPS with a gamepad??? :shudder: Well, in most FPS you have to activate "Joystick" (or something similar) to be able to control the game with it (it is an option, somewhere...)!

Ich bin (vielleicht auch beruflich bedingt) geradezu paranoid im Hinblick auf Backups - mein Model ist noch in einer relativ frühen Phase, ich habe aber schon 23 Versionen... ...und überlege momentan SVN zu installieren, um mir die Versionsverwaltung zu erleichtern!

Mir gehts ähnlich: genug Zeit, aber kein Elan... ...immerhin habe ich heute ein paar kleine Fortschritte bei meinem ersten Projekt gemacht (sehr kleine!).

Danke! Es klappt (aber nur wenn ich zusätzlich reset XForm verwende...)! Jetzt kann ich so langsam mal an meinem (etwas dilettantischen) Model weiterarbeiten...

If you really mean SFG (NOT SF2) the "Effects" and "Sound" folders can be found in the SFG folder, "Weapons" and "Decals" are subfolders of "Objects", the pilots and seats have to be placed in the "Aircraft" ("Aircrafts"?) folder (subfolder of "Objects"). Maybe the "Decals" and/or "Weapons" folders doesn't exist (jet) - than you have to create them...

Um dem Thread mal wieder ein wenig Leben einzuhauchen : Ich habe ein merkwürdiges Problem bei den Animationen. Wenn ich vresuche, den Pivotpunkt für die gewünschte Animationsrichtung auszurichten, rotiert nicht nur der Pivotpunkt, sondern bewegt (und rotiert) sich auch das Objekt (trotz "Affect Pivot Only"!!!). Zudem sieht mir die Rotation nicht nach einer reinen Rotation, sondern auch nach einer Scherung aus - und das geht ja wohl gar nicht (wie soll man eine vernünftige Animation in einem nicht-karthesischen Koordinatensystem durchführen?)...

Isr ganz lustig, aber auch ziemlich wehrlos (kein ECM oder Gegenmaßnahmen)! Ich habe nur überlebt, indem ich mich zwischen 100 und 200 ft herumgetrieben habe (die MiGs haben nicht getroffen...).
