I managed to catch some of my standalone HAWKs cook some SAMs off at some SU-17s but no hits were scored. On the other hand my F-4G got greased by about 7 SA-11 Gadflys on a SEAD. Ouch.

I have some Hawk standalone SAMs in my folder. I'll try and convert to STATIC_AAA and see what happens. I have multiple Soviet SAMs I need to do the same to.

I will try changing the hawks to STATIC_AAA or MOBILE_AAA to see what happens.

I didn't place S-300s on my maps and I can fly in 2027 with an S-300 site on every map.

I am not seeing HAWKs in the ROC/Formosa/Taiwan terrain and all my export settings are right too. Only enemy bombers are shot down by Chapparals.

That whole section is missing from the ENVIRONMENTSYSTEM.INI Do I just add it in there and see what happens?

Maybe he's really busy. Is anyone offering to help him finish it??

Lexx I tried switching back to the 2008 ENVIRONMENTSYSTEM.ini with no success. What fields in the INI cause the disipation of blue sky as you get higher?

I did some fiddling with the altitude table data and succeeded! On the other hand, for the heck of it, I created a field on my MIG-25P using all 1's for stages and now have a MIG-25 that disappears completely after 105,000 feet. Oops. Of course a simple nose dive brings you back into the cockpit of the plane. I take it the gaming engine only allows you to fly up to 105,000 feet or something. Also, some pictures I have seen up here using what looks like the Siberian Sky effects (I have) in fact look like the sky is darker and closer to a stratosphere look. No matter how high I get I still see blue, but some people have almost a solid black in their screenshots. It looks like they are literally in outer space. What Environment system file is that???

Looking good. A-Team Skunkworks has a skin that looks like the YF-12 (2-tone black with natural metal dorsal surfaces). That would be a sweet look for our new toy in the community.

What about the Dry and Wet Mach tables? Do those have any correlation to altitude and its table?

How do I do that? I have never touched those tables

What about playing with the ceiling value in the Data INI? Does that change anything?

How do you all of you take these screenshots looking like you are in the stratosphere? The highest I can get is 84,000 ft in a MIG-25P. Am I missing some sort of coding in an INI to do this?

It's been a while since I played WOE. This will definitely get me back into it once it's released!

Despite having the nations and weapon types right, I still don't seem AMRAAMs available for the F/A-18E and F/A-18F I just downloaded. They are the newest versions off of here. How do I add the capability? I must not be doing something right.

Would I mess the B-1 up if I changed the base size to medium?

Occasionally, I have planes that will cause a CTD when trying to fly a single mission after selecting them. CTD happens before the hanger screen. My most recent incident involved selecting the B-1B and trying to play a single mission on the Himalayas terrain. It will crash to desktop before I get to the hanger screen. On every other map it works fine. I'm confused as to what to look at next to solve it. Any ideas?
