You can download the Tu-22M3 and then use the Kh-15 or Kh-22 missiles family which comes with the aircraft. -
To add aircrafts, you just have to drop them inside aircrafts folder in your SF2V mod directory. C: users / user name / saved games / thirdwire / strike fighters 2 vietnam / objects / aircrafts I recommend you check the knowledge base of SF2. As for the Mig-25, it is not available in the downloads section of SF2 series although there is one in the stage of development, so it will be released after some time. However you can use the one which comes with the War For Israel or the Operation Desert Storm mods. Also you can download the Foxbat pack from the downloads section of SF1 series and then you will be able to convert it to SF2 standards if you read the topic "How to convert aircrafts from SF1 to SF2".

Wrench I think you made the terrain more desert than it really is. Greece is mostly a mountainous country but has some plain areas. Search for physical maps and you will see it. As for Turkey, I think its west coast (east coast of anatolia terrain) is green. If you need help or information about the terrain ask me!

Different radar capabilities

A very essential parameter is the radar selection in options menu. Hard radar settings means that radar will work to a limited degree but in general a high search strength value in avionics.ini will improve radar's capability. A target flying at very low altitude would hardly be seen in the radar but below 50 feet even the F-14 radar can not detect it. According to my experience F-15 radar has one of the greatest look down/shoot down performances. In many cases, F-15A/C had been firing sparrows when targets were flying at 60 - 80 feet! In general I can see many differences among aircrafts radars but I think that the oldest the aircraft, the less the radar capability. -

Thanks Ianh755, this is OK. Although it has a different .bmp file than the other Alamos which come with the Mig-29 Pack, I can use it till I fix the problem. -
1. Reloaded Community Mod - It's a quick way to make SF2 look better. Includes new terrain tiles, effects, sounds and some flyable stock aircrafts. Highly recommended! 2. Operation Darius packs - Includes a large variety of aircrafts, weapons, ground objects and campaigns. Highly recommended! 3. NATO fighters 4+ packs - Includes a large variety of aircrafts, weapons, ground objects and campaigns. 4. Any of the Scandinavian Front packs - A what if conflict between Scandinavian countries and USSR. I think it's the only terrain in which you can fly over USSR! 5. Some aircrafts I suggest: TMF Mirage F.1C, TMF Mirage 2000 AdA, TMF F-16C, TMF F/A-18A/C, Mig-21 complete pack, Mig-23 & Mig-27 Floggers, TMF Mig-29. Highly recommended!

Problem with AA-10 Alamo

I have already checked SpecificStationCodes but this is not the problem. Usually missiles don't shown up because of an error in missile parameters but in my case it can not be recognized even by weapons editor! -
My problem is that the R-27TE "AA-10 Alamo-D" missile from Mig-29 Pack 2.0 doesn't appear in game neither in weapons editor. Inside the missile's folder there are the two .lod files, the .bmp image file, the AA-10D_data.ini file and a .BAK (???) file with the name "R-27ET Mig29_deleted". I changed the extension from .BAK to .ini and then the file transformed into a usual ini file. I renamed the file to "R-27ET Mig29" because I thought this .BAK file was the problem and inside the newly transformed .ini file there was the info about weapon name, lods etc. Even after the .BAK to .ini transformation nothing happened though. Missile still doesn't shown up. Only R-27TE has this issue, the other Alamos are OK. Thanks.

Missle Boost

An air to air missile needs to accelerate very fast during the first seconds after the launch so that it will be able to fly faster and longer. Just after the missile launch, you will see the burning gases which come out from the missile tail. This is the missile booster. After some seconds, the booster stops and the missile keeps flying with the sustainer motor but not every missile uses the last one. You can make it look different by changing the booster effect. Open weapons editor and make your changes. Keep in mind that a change in booster time or booster acceleration will have impact on missile's maximum speed, maximum range, duration etc. In SF2 downloads section there is a useful application called Missile Range Simulator. It will help you to edit missile's parameters as you like. -
B-52G/H Mega Era Package

I have a problem after installed the latest update. This huge bird isn't displayed in the radar! I tried with Mig-29 and Mirage 2000 to guide R-27 and Super 530 but I was unable, so I could fire only IR missiles. I tried all A-A modes but radar could not show B-52G/H even in 5 NM !!! I think this is very contradictory beacause B-52 normally should be appear in the maximum (search and track) range of a radar due to its size. Any thoughts? -

Where did you get that screen? It mentions that AIM-120D has a maximum range of 180 Km !!! I guess this is a mistake. Maybe 80 Km but not 180 ! -

I wanted to mention something about the Super 530 missiles (both D and F versions). As I can see mostly from users pics posted here and there, the most common weapon model which is being used is the white model which comes with the Mirage 2000 AdA pack. After many launches against enemy aircraft, I have to say that the kill ratio is surprisingly dissapointing plus it's very slow! Only about 20% of the launches in short ranges hit the target! I think this is a very low kill ratio even for the real Super 530 which is designed to hit targets at medium distances (Maximum range about 40 km according to wikipedia and ther sites) with much higher kill possibility with a speed of almost Mach 4 in high altitude! I know that several factors affects a missile shot but in compare with the older blue model which comes with the ordnance pack, things are very diffrent. The blue Super 530 is incomparably effective and faster. According to my experience (I am a Mirage F.1 / Mirage 2000C fan) the blue missile (both versions) achieves at least 3 kills out of 4 shots in ranges at least 12 - 15 NM. I don't say that the blue missile is closest to the real one because I don't know but I think that it's more closer than the white model. I was wondering if we could make the white model more accurate with the real missile. -
Wheels problem

Back wheels of Su-7BMK(EAF) are not aligned as you can see. I installed the plane correctly I think. What would have caused this? Any ideas about how to solve it? Thanks!
