two semi related questions 1. for future reference who is the one to ask about TMF mods? (suspect it will be you Wrench, but trying to get an official answer for reference) 2. whens the last time the Freeware Agreement was updated? and is it time to Make a new one with the currently active folks signing on? the one i posted above is a decade old, with last update 6 years ago. -
nice shot on the Blackbird, though if you wanna be historical, 380th BW outta Plattsburgh AFB (green and white stripes or apple and Plattsburgh on tail ) was the other main unit flying Q models in support of the SR-71. sorry for majoring in fastener accounting, heres a mandatory screenie

both answers are correct (aircraft depending). because it's an ini edit (and presumably skin), you do not need permission to upload if the mod is from a member of the freeware use agreement or if the mod states it is free to use (so long as you dont add it in payware). just be sure to give the credit to the original modder, and for the most part its good form to leave out the LOD file, and include a link for the person downloading to go get the original aircraft if they dont have it. before anyone gets technical about the Mirage 2000, i'm stating that for all mods (future reference kinda thing) the link to the freeware agreement EDIT ; execpt TMF mods. had a brain fart on them being blanket authorized. -
the overhaul begins.... gotta figure out the limits for things and the LOD viewer dont work on tgas of course with how i mix camos in one skin and my sense of humor, there could only be one name for the test paintjob

I know I asked a long time ago, but cant find my old question. What value do I change to edit when the afterburners kick in? I have edited the J57s to smoke with water injection via "afterburner", I would like it to kick in at 95 or 98 percent however rather than 90%. TIA for your input

View File KC-135 Skinpack 3: Late 1980s USAF KC-135 Skinpack 3: Late 1980s This skin pack will feature skins for all USAF KC-135 users from the late 1980s. This includes the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserves. Many of the skins serials and nose arts are the same as in ODS, which the aircraft would participate in a few years after this period. This also represents the era that the Shamu scheme became more common and that nose art made a comeback on USAF aircraft. Requirements: any version of Strike Fighters 2, and the KC-135 mod found here Installation: first, get the Mirage Factory C-135A/B and KC-135A/E/R 1.0 from the above link (if you dont have it already) then unzip this to the mod folder, allowing overwrites. Known Issues: this is meant as eye candy. unfortunately, SF2 doesn't support air to air refueling so the best to be done is set up a recon mission and then park it in an orbit. Also, Dels C-130 pit does not line up with the model very well. it is included mainly so that it can be player selected (i had to test it somehow). Loading more than 8 aircraft on a mission will produce irregularities (like only the front half of the camo showing). So far I have not seen more than 8 on a ramp, and it is doubtful you need to load more than that in one area for a mission. Just be warned if you throw all 16 in at once. BTW, this thing is big, coming in over 2 1/4 GB size So, Whats Included?: Skins with at least two examples from every USAF unit to fly the KC-135 during the late 80s, with separate skins for Active Duty and reserve forces Colors represented include ADC gray, and Shamu dark grey over medium grey. Shamu is added as tga for a mix within each skin Engines on the A models were adjusted to produce heavy smoke at max thrust. Burning water, just like the real thing. Drogue add on to simulate refueling probe equipped aircraft. While working with some birds lately i was thinking on the fact that many birds in our collection have end dates of the year 2020. While that might've been reasonable when even the SF2 series came out (2009), i think that many of the aircraft in both real life and in game will continue to be seeing action on 31 Dec 2020. Many of the common aircraft in NATO Fighters, ODS, Op Darius to name a few wont retire until the 2040s earliest. not a specific request, more something to consider when creating new mods or updating older ones as either expiration dates need modified or new models created to represent upgrades (say a F-15C (10) for the AESA radar upgrade) and first one to mod a TARDIS let us know, we need that entry for infinity to use on the B-52!

wheres the VNAF birds? that would make the history of New Zealands air force very interesting, as the aircraft that departed to neighboring countries could then offer them (super cheap. not free im sure) to the RZNAF. the airframe hours being spread as well as the extra airframes to pull spares from could likely extend the service life out past 92

ok gotcha. on the one hand it would be nice to see decal placement in the LOD viewer. on the other hand i might never fly the sim again if that happened!

so why arent you using mues LOD viewer then? for tga i understand but skins you merely have to save the skin and hit the refresh button in the viewer. Poof, instant view of progress

yeah, it does now after checking it out again. i know thats what should happen so I named all the images after the appropriate line in the aircraft inis. for some reason it didnt work 3 (shocked when i saw that) years ago. it does today, so a little touch up and another small present is on its way this weekend. got reminded of it looking at Menrva's retro SF1 menus thank you for the reply -
Did a project a few years back for real pics for the stock loading screens instead of the ingame screenie of a Phantom. named them after what it was in the aircrafts ini and placed in the folders. but it didnt work. got distracted by other things at the time so question is, should it work with the stock name given to the jpgs (ie A-4B_65_LoadingScreen.jpg) or should I rename the file and add a corrected aircraft ini? not hard if the second option, just long and tedious across every. stock. plane. there is!
