SF2 was pretty much a Windows 7 upgrade of the original WinXP based Wings over series aka SF1. however it works well going on into Win10, and most of us dont have issues with it in Win11. and as mentioned, the base game is basic and Vietnam based. but the mods will take you almost anywhere you want to go. theres folks making the latest Chinese stealth fighters, and another working on seaplanes from the Spanish Civil War. and theres alot of everything in between

true. but given the issues from after he got hacked, i dont think he can hunt them holes down and patch em very well. if im wrong, "i'll make a banned vol 3" banner but im betting on him getting too old for the old level of pettiness energy sounds about right. im not sure anyone has gotten download permission since they got hacked (or ISP destroyed the records)

check skin names? make sure they all end the same, _66 or _65 or whatever then check file format. jpg, bmp, dds

well we could use some youngblood in the modding realm. and this is a way to bring folks in. it would just mean a little extra work from the admins approving to verify that someone didnt say take one of ravenclaw's models, change names and twist one item 180 degrees the old heads amongst us would be fine, as we'd probably show off how we took said original model (and give the credit) and twisted a part to be accurate to a different era. not just claim it to be new

i hope not. but give him a minute. swambast isnt usually the instant reply type, and in the post it shows he's tryin to run in in PM rather than public but i do think a bit more on the intentions should be public, it will problably get the veteran modders attention better esp if for public release rather than payware

its available here yeah as part of the pack, but still better than waiting. if youre patient, when i get back in i can load a zip of just the pod. but im not totally sure if thatll be 2 or 22 hours

well so far 12 people have it seems. if there's something wrong, we should see it in the comments of the upload. if there is something fundamentally wrong (its pirated or a virus) im sure the head shed will remove it. this thread is about the numbers. so it wasnt one of the traditional modders like Sundowner, Wrench or Ravenclaw007. it is still the 5655th mod for SF2 on this site, aand now puts SF2 ahead of SF1 thats what this thread is about.

its a legit concern, but probably one thats not too well known outside of Spain alot of the western av enthusiasts liked the sound of Rata better , plus the flying restorations came about at or shortly after the end of the Cold War. not to popular to use the name of your former enemies capital i guess. but i do remember multiple magazine articles in the 90s and all referred to it as Rata

cant tell you for Novalogic for Janes, there was this dude that work for them for several years. had a aerospace engineering degree, consulted on the aerodynamics etc then he went out on his own, made his own studio and series. third something or another its still has a few fans, especially on this site. think some folks even still mod for it
