ok, be to ya NLT than Thursday, but hopefully tonight today's my first non school day of the summer. but trying to get on a schedule, and tuesdays are the job hunt/portfolio fix days. (slaps self, demands he gets back to work)
-
nah go ahead and ask. we're at no right now, so worst case after asking is to still be no. but he might surprise us
-
i was gonna ask "what the one from July 2013?" as a joke. but then i realized theres the all in one package, and didnt remember when that came out then realized the sites down so i cant see when it came out oof.
-
your call brother i got the ok to add them when i did the late 70s ANG pack, and did the Tracor target tugs too. but i aint researching what two seaters went to Nam. thats all you
-
it would be nice, but im not sure if he would go through the hassle esp if TW got snooty about that (even with intent to send them the money)
-
get one with the usb c. they are wickedly fast. like, my entire 200+ GB TW backup folder in 5 mins
-
are you adding any 2 seaters? if so i can send you temps for YAP RW's F also if you plan to, hitt them up on FB and ask. 99.99% likely yes, but it is the courteous thing to do

there is that. for you at least one external for your writing would be a business investment, not a toy

How to stop aircraft from "migrating" between games
daddyairplanes replied to cperleberg's topic in General Discussion
if you have migrating aircraft, means you have multiple exes if you want stand alones, take each exe and assign it the theater you want (naval, Europe, Israel, Balkans etc) then go in and delete the birds you dont want. feel free to add in birds that you do want from here or other sites same for terrains. althought the delete process here is to have a copy of that terrain folder and a blank terrain ini if you make an install that is not a stock TW one, you will need to leave one stock bird in minimum. This is for ones like ODS 30AE or my Balkans install that im working on building up for post Cold War era takes a little work, but its quite feasible -
SF2 hasnt been his favorite child for over a decade and theres often enough blow back to the changes he made over the years at the time that they happened) that i can understand why he doesnt share every update between the release of North Atlantic and his final patch in july 13 was met with probably more complaints than compliments "the missiles are too strong" "the missiles are too weak" "the latest patch broke my mods" "why did you make this DLC, the one at CA is better" etc etc etc. we (the modding community at large) have had SF2's back for the last 15 years

do you not have your stuff backed up across multiple devices/drives i'll admit, i've been lucky. so i can have all my stuff (including TW) on my laptop, desktop, and three different externals. really important stuff like military/VA paperwork is also in emails to myself and google drive. if i cant recover it, i (and likely the world) got much bigger problems at hand...

ran through both while doing ANG D and Fs. and hopin to do some more over the summer with OA-37s, OV-10s and 0-2s (notice a pattern ) i will say the best use for Baughers site is to both determine write off dates for those that crashed, and AMARC dates. if you line up when a unit swapped jets against when a bunch of planes arrive in the boneyard, you can get good handle on who had which serial

i throw them in, but for ANG sqns i usually comment them out. if the end user wants to make that default, proper cursor placement and two clicks will have them on their way. but thats just me lookin good so far. would darken the tail stripe on the SEA scheme a little or boost teh opacity of the decal (or skin layer) just a little. SEA schemes can be a pain for stripes. too lite or low opacity and youre see through. too dark or high and it looks like a sticker from a kids coloring book. takes time to master, and i still dont consider myself to have mastered it edit after reading a little more.. are you trying to do the red nose through skin or decal?

you mean the FB-111H? https://www.twz.com/38621/this-stretched-super-fb-111-was-a-low-cost-challenger-to-the-b-1-bomber mightve been, but i do like the Bone better.....

sorry to hear you leaving modding, but when you lose the interest in something there's no forcing it back i can understand the landscape changing. but do hope you'll check in from time to time on the neighbors you've known over the years

fighters make movies, bombers make history

ok, at first it was cool but every single time i load up the Eastern Med in my naval install, it looks like i'm about to sail back in time to 6 Dec 1941......

American Mig Pilot Event with Lt. Col. Rob 'Z-Man' Zettel
daddyairplanes replied to Jimbib's topic in The Pub
thats what you get for simming naval aviation all this time Hell, when MG Bond crashed the MiG-23 in 1983, its now believed the AF gave up the aircraft type so readily so that reporters wouldnt dig and find the big secret in the desert at that time, the F-117 -
you know, those are JAMMER pods, to play with electronics. not HAMMER pod to literally whack the bad guys with this....... is generally the right hammer for the job
