still just guessing here,,,,,, are you using the cd2 from cfs3...,,or do you have that exe we arnt suppose to talk about? and there is another exe in there,,,cfs3mp.exe...would be interested in knowing if that gives you the same problem...

how did you copy your cfs3 files needed from bhah,,,from an install of cfs3, or did you just tell it to copy the files from the cfs3 disk? if you use the disk method, it has to be a copy of cfs3 that is patched to 3.1 already... if the version of cfs3 you have is 3.0 on the disk, then you have to install it,,upgrade to 3.1, then intall bhah and have it copy the files it needs from the cfs3 install.. and,,if you got the files for bhah from a cfs3 install, you will need the cd in there.....(just like you need it for cfs3)

im curious too....lol did a google on this,,and it came up with nothing.... going to assume from vasco's post, that you have a utility running in the background for this joystick... and not sure if you are trying to assign throttle for the game thru this utility, or thru the "controls" section of bhah..... I opened up my controls section in bhah, and from the "event catagory" drop down selected "axis", and under event scrolled to the bottom and found the throttle axis...when i dbl clicked it,,,and it asked me to asign an axis,,,i moved my rudder, and naturaly it told me that axis was already assigned,,so i just hit cancel.. is this the way your are trying it? and if so,,when you move the throttle,,,does it say you have assigned throttle to this axis,,,and you say ok,,,and save etc,,etc,,but it just wont take? if so, im curious,,,when you assign the axis to throttle,,,it will show something like "throttle slider", or "throttle axis" assigned to throttle.....if you close the game,,,and restart,,,and go back to controls...is the assignment you just made still there,,,or did it dissapear.... and, wondering if maybe you have to disable,,or kill the logtech utility,,,and make all your assignments thru the bhah control section.... so damn vasco,,,how have you been doing throttle,,,,the keyboard????

is your cfs3 installed, or are you copying from a dvd or cd (that is patched to 3.1 already) if you are using an installed cfs3, and deleted that to, then reinstalled, did you make sure you played cfs3 at least once first before installing off and,,,getting to the point where i agree with uncleal....might be time to stick that other card in there,,and see how the game plays........

use the uninstall,,then make sure you delete any folders left over. be sure to get what is in c:\documents and settings\username\application data (appdata in vista)\microsoft\cfsww1 off then just install and change the install path to whatever you want.....it should be able to find your cfs3 install. lol..if something goes wrong,,,dont blame me....

what times (edt) are good for you?

quitting is not an option....... still wondering if you have cfs3 installed on that computer,,,and if so, does it run... when you re install,,,are you removing the old install first,,,and deleting all the folders, including the ones in documents&settings\username\applicationdata\microsoft\cfsww1 off?

when i put up that post, was having problems figureing out how to make a facility a goal object. if thats what you are trying to do..then read the thread on facilities in the mission builder forum. if you are still trying to make air formations spawns,,,,and have 2 spawn facilities close,,,you may have to assign priorities to them, so one takes precedent over the other (may be wrong about this...) what are you spawning with that facility,,,,,formations?

whew... these are all just guesses... not up on sli,,but is that something you have to enable in bios,,,or in os? and if so,,,(assuming you just got one card) did you disable it..(off is not sli enabled,,,maybe your other games are)... deleting your usiel.xml somethims solves some pretty quirky problems,,,,dont think its going to solve this one,,,but it wouldnt hurt. Game just rebuilds the file when it doesnt find one.. anything outta the ordinary about your system? seem to remeber some problems in the past that where prtty strange,,then come to find out they had 2 monitors,,,,and beive camel jocky had 2 sound cards that resulted in a problem..

hey,,,i have the saphire 4870....I went all the way back to 9.5 (the ones on the cd that came with the card)... and ill tell you,,,that solved ALOT of problems i was having... will NEVER update.....lol

strange problem to say the least.... when you are at the wwi initialising screen, that is when cfs3.exe is being started up from by off manager... if you get a chance,,,look for your cfs3.exe in your obd\cfs3ww1 off directory, and start the game from there, bypassing the off manager,,,curiouse to see if you get the same problem.

curious,,,what is your desktop resolution,,,,and what do you have the game set to run at? and,,its not the card,,,,and doubt that its the drivers,,,,,,,ive seen this game run bad on some drivers, but never seen it not run at all...

lol...ok,,,at the risk of beating this poor topic to death.... lets say a month ago someone posted in the forum they wanted the gotha,,,so i compressed my gotha folder,,,respnded to the post that here it is, uploaded the file and attached it to the post.... now today i see another person wants the gotha. I dont want to have to search all my posts to find where i respned to the other persone a month ago. I know the file is in "my attachements"...so i want to just reply to this second persone, and link to the gotha attachment i uploaded a month ago..(to be clear,,,i dont want to link to the old post i made a month ago,,,,i want to link to the gotha file in my attatchments) It appears to me you can not do this,,,,I just wanted to make sure i was not missiong something... Itmes in your albumns can be linked to i belive 4 different ways, ( i always use the bbcode). It just seemed logical that items in your attachments would have at least one way of linking to, without haveing to find the original post the you made when you first uploaded and attched the file.

lol... if it was me, i would go back to cfs3config (which is the graphics config button in workshop)....when it says cfs3 has been configured,,,click on file and then change display options...your probably on default, which may or may not be your screen resolution...i would suggetst clicking on select resolution, and try something a little lower than what you have your desktop set to. If that works, then move it up... just out of curiosity, you said you reinstalled the game.....did you do that because you put in the new video card?, or where there other problems that made you reinstall? also, do you have cfs3 installed. if so,,see how that plays.

dr1rookie.xml is the mission file,,it goes into historical dr1.xml and dr1.spawn go into your spawn folder spawns.rar

stump, if they put them in the global layer the same way you put your rr yards in italy, then they will be able to be set as goal objects. Would be nice if they knew how you did yours.....

sorry if i wasnt clear.. Lets say i am trying to get someone up and running in mp. They need a plane called n17_axe that is required for some missions that Axegrinder made up. In an effort to make the process as painless as possible for the other person, and not knowing just how adept they are at going to the download page and getting files, i want to put up a post in the mp forum, and attach the files they need there. If i have uploaded the file already to my attachments, was looking for a link to that file that i could add to the post, rather than have to upload the file again in the "attachments" section of the post Realise i could upload the file to the download page, and post the link to the download in the post, but not all these files are my "property" if you will, and although they are available for public download in other places, not sure if its ok for me to make other peopls work available in the download section.
