  6. Thanks for the tip hairyspin!
  7. Heck I fly at 20k without an O-Mask all the time ...piece o' cake then ...eh?
  8. It's easy to understand the "Right" to protest It's a core element of a strong democracy ...but to desecrate the hallowed dead who breath no more so that they can breath free I agree, make em clean the cemetery spotless, make em watch every known video of Hitler, Stalin, Mao, & Pol Pot's atrocities And if that doesn't work , do what the French did to female collaborators after WWII Shave their heads and beat the crap outta them Sorry, my li'l rant,
  9. Thanks Bullet! I'll give it a whirl How tough is the learning curve?
  10. Can anyone help with a download site for GMAX? I've been modding my set-up a bit and would like to delve a little deeper Thanks,
  11. Amazing story Ras Thanks for sharing
  12. I average about 30% The name of the game is to get so close you can't miss But I find shooting accuracy varies a lot with the opponent I fly Fokker DVII and I can't get close enough to Se5's and Spad's so accuracy falls Camels are slower than me so shooting 40% is doable Al, I had an X52 and had a lot of trouble with hunting back and forth over the target The thing was like a limp noodle and accuracy suffered (greaat stick in every other aspect though) MG FFB does hurt accuracy but I find flight control FFB helps I've seen your videos Widow Amazing shooting indeed Hellshade, you can lower the window on the earlier Nieups IIRC, it's CTRL+C (Open Cockpit Command)
  13. I'm don't have access to my gamer right now so I can't verify I think they're in the OFF sub-directory in your My Documents folder HTH,
  14. Lucky guy, just the opposite! 38 Blackhawks are one of my favorite sports stories They were horrible, came in 6th outta 7 teams in the league at that time But the playoff schedule was loopy Top 6 teams made the playoffs, #1 played #2, 3 vs 4, etc Chicago got the easy road and won the Cup Go Blackhawks!
  15. :suicide2: What are you talkin bout? :suicide2: We're all pefectly stable up this-a-ways :suicide2: Game 7 was just another day like any other :suicide2:
  16. Hats off to Chicago! I'm a Bruins fan but I was routing for them after Boston dropped out
  17. This shot isn't bad, but it's the shot that was missed that was the great one I dove steeply on the Re8, pulling onto her tail then overshooting Her lower starboard wing failed just as I approached and she snap rolled For a moment we were top wing to top wing, flames broiling outta her Next time I'll be quicker on the Pause Button
  18. LOL! ...that was my thought too as soon as I read the poster But I'd still like to see it though
  19. The problem with warp is the circling prior to linking up with the bombers (as Bullet suggests) After take-off, hit Shift+W as required to skip the circling, then Warp You'll end up ahead and above the bombers A Flight will be lost way behind though
  20. Flyby, nothing sounds like a Merlin! Sounds like the way to start a day off right My best aero sound experience came at an air show ...Westhover Mass IIRC There were a multiple of jets, Thunderbirds, etc, then they brought the vintage A/C out They announced that they'd have a flight of 5 P-51's who would simultate an airfield strafing attack Hmm not just the slow flyby today eh? The Mustag's grouped well beyong the end of the strip and dove down at a 30o angle I'm sure it wasn't full throttle but those Merlins were singing At the mid point of the field they broke into a 90o turn to Port and exited in a 10o climb The Merlins were lovely but the sound their ailerons/airframes made in the tight turn grabbed you by the gut It was a loud shrieking sound, best way I can describe it is "They were ripping a hole in the air" 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 times ...YOUZER! That's also where I also learned how to ground attack in OFF The annoncer said the 90o turn and transition from dive to climb was make the gunners completely recalibtate their aiming
  21. Lemon Jelly??? ,,,sounds interesting
  22. Glad to help M8! Mighty neighborly gesture too ...Duce races for the door and makes a mad dash to the Officers Club!!!
  23. Sounds like you might have multiple controllers in conflict Remember Rudder Pedals and Joysticks both install with all 3 control axii Delete the ailerons and elevators on your peds and delete the twisty rudder on your stick ...all assuming you have peds of course But steering wheels, etc. can cause the same issue HTH,
  24. Lucky Brits I get a location not allowed message when I try to view the clip Maybe PBS or Discovery will import it some year Enjoy,
  25. Unfortunately, OFF is not like riding a bicycle Take some time off and there may be some painful lessons to relearn Simulates RL pretty well Many WWI pilots hated to take too much time off cuz they'd lose their sharpness Happy Hunting!
