breifing room.......150 mi round trip....I load 100%fuel which is supposed to be 175 mi good to go........... and arrive back with 65% fuel left??? OK.....load 25% fuel...good for a 100mi round trip and still arrive home w/ fuel to spare after a 175mi rt mission. I use warp.........which I guess must skews the values and have noticed after landing that the fuel remaining is reducing fast on the info screen...before the mission complete screen takes over and locks out. I've never noticed any aircraft peformance changes whether or not I have full fuel or less...and would love to see this factored in w/ w4. Maybe it's the warp thing that skews the curve but I know I'm not the only one that hasn't time to fly real time....anybody else????

I'm such a tool.....this game keeps presenting the most amazing delightful surprises,,,,,,,to me at least,,,,,so, to those of you if any, who like me, may have ignored the choices plain as your hand in front of your face....may have overlooked the following......"fly last mission"....I've never taken advantage of that choice and always thought that was a graceful way to end a career.....I'm gonna fly my last mission and then go away. How many times in life have we wished we could do it again, and learn from our mistakes? True in marriage as well as mortal stakes in OFF...but if you want to go back and try it again....this is the best thing till WOFF. No doubt all of you know this already but if this thread sheds a light into one dark corner, like mine....so much the better. Furthermore....how many of you have gone to the breifing room/or to the feild.......... and left the jasta ticking over while you went to check the kettle/toaster/school bus? Note the clock! It ticks on whether you're paying attention or not, whether you're choosing alternate missions or just answering e-mails..................I'd like to think there were consequences down the line but having had my hands full trying to own the consistently reappearing DR1 flight with my diminished Camel squadron (fly last mission)......I've no idea. Played smarter the last 2 reruns but concluded I'd best cut down on the rum before re-engaging again....such fun! Cheers

Crikey these are pretty maps........any way to incorporate them into the game.......Lothar's map made a HUGEn difference.....love to see this stuff you found Olham put in place...right feel, font, texture.....

who said the AI aren't smart? The odds of knocking over a few crates versus the dead certitude of copping it from groundfire sooner or later never seemed worth it.....pilots choice I suppose obeying the brass or flying the odds

wait a sec....the balloons winch down?? I know they're supposed to but never seen it in OFF. I'm not that good that I surprise it every time but I've nver seen a balloon on the ground...and 50% of the time they're aced by their own ground fire at me before I have to fire a shot.......a leisure moment or two swanning about directly above them usually does the job without having to fire a shot.

shoot me if I'm wrong but I seem to recall that the squares were the result of duplicate effect files.....this was a fix you might find over at Combat Ace

Elephant...........one of Scott's early, and great one's.......gorgeous cinematography and the dueling sequence in the cellar is epic......Rob Roy virtually duplicated the feel of that sword fight....and you'll recognize the choreography of your posted sequence with the the one in Gladiator.....great moments in movies never die....they're redone in another tone
