The UI is still messed up. I get half video on the screen and black squares on the bottom. I did the short cut workaround, it didn't work. Do I need to update something like the game's vid player? DX9? If I can't get this to work I'll send it to someone. Falcon

Where can I find ARMA Patch 1.05 to order to get the game update to 1.08? Also I'm using Vista 64bit home Premium edition and the intro video is messed up. Any suggestions? Falcon

Yesterday night I did some tweaking in the new WOI wep editor for some missile tweaks. As many of you know that TK denutted some missiles for dogfight gameplay. However, his tweaking made meduim BVR/medium WVR a tad frustrating. Now before I post the numbers, I did the tweaking by looking at the SP1 SP3 standard install with the old wep editor and comparing them to WOI wep data in the new WOI wep editor. I picked a good between number for various sections. Based on my 2 test combat flights, the AIM7E2 did a good job, only missed 3 times. But I need to be sure this tweak isn't uber. Ok for the tweaks you need to need the WOI wep editor. Now onto the various number tweaks. Put these numbers in the sections I put up. Tweak for the AIM7E2 Accuracy = 80 Launch reliability = 85 Lock-on Chance = 85 Noise Rejection = 80 A warning: Be sure to back up the WEAPONDATA file if you decide this is too uber. I hope we can get a good numbers in this test. Thank you for the help. Once we've decide the best tweak, we'll work on the AIM9L next Falcon

Huh. I have great framerates with WOI. I have 3.00 gig dual core cpu with 6mb cache. The video card is a 16xpci-e 8800 GTX 786MB. The settings are max out except for shadows. Card settings are 16x AA and 16QX AF at 1600x1050 res. WOI looks great. Framerates go from 40 to high 50's. Falcon PS. Sal, did you update your video drivers and DX9.0?

Tried to excract the Vurdun WW1 terrian ini to fix the Vista CTD and even though it says its in the Vurdun folder I don't see it :dntknw:. Any ideas? Falcon

The days of Sega master system and 32 bit Sega Genesis system were golden. These had real joysticks. It was called Genesistick. It had a trigger, 2 buttons and the start button on top. It even had a rapid fire switch which it helped me with the street fighter type games. Sigh. If only God of War was for PC.. Well I tried to google that stick.
