I somehow got the perfect setting this afternoon. Weird. I put in the water=4 entry into the config. I noticed theres a effects line. Anybody fooled with that? Speaking of which, I didn't see any propwash efx while flying real low. EFX glitch? Falcon

Ah ok good. Thought I was seeing things. Yeah some of the tracks are impossible to avoid hitting cars. Another thing I don't like about GRID is there's no practice lap option to learn the tracks (ie no ai cars, just you and the track). Falcon

I recently bought GRID after seeing the movie IRONMAN with a bud of mine over the weekend. I played the demo and was impressed. However, in the demo I thought the AI was good. But in the full game I thought the AI was too aggressive. Some times I found myself getting smacked on purpose from the AI. Even get sidewiped to hit a wall or a barrier. Hell I got spin out on purpose on one race. This is on basic skill level. Is the skill level or am I seeing things? At first I thought the AI for demo derby got mixed in the racing AI. I should of gotten prostreet. At least the ai in there won't smack you on purpose. Falcon

Hmm. That's really odd. I reinstalled IL2 1946 last night and couldn't find "perfect" terrain. I'm running an Intel dual core at 3.0 gig with 4 gig ram, video card is an 8800 gtx 756mb and 64 bit vista home version. I tried both OpenGL and Directx modes. Any ideas? Oh almost forgot, I patched it up to 4.08m Falcon

2 but can't use it. Have vista and the shaders are off.

That's not the only problem I had. From not able to zoom in with the sniper scope to the nanosuit not working when it's fully charged. Of course I didn't install all of the patches since a friend of mine told me I only need 1.2 and the hotfix. Falcon

Looks like I am only one that is having problems with Crysis SP. The scripting isn't executing on the tank mission where you hafta destroy the 2 tanks and supposely proceed to the waterfall where a cut scene supposed to play. I played the mission over and over and still nothing. I uninstalled the game hoping the 1.3 patch will fix it. Guess not. Oh well another 60 bucks down the drain. Falcon
