  1. Just back up your stuff either way.
  2. Or you can ask Crusader and see if he'll tweak the avionics...
  3. Not sure, I'm not an ini guru as that would have to be setup (if my brain serves me right, Crusader?) that you'd have to modify the cockpit.ini file so it can call up the weapon names, etc.
  4. No it doesn't support Ground Mapping, then again I just don't use it anyway. And since it's been awhile I know that you simply select and it will cycle targets and works fine. Doesn't make them more accurate but it works.
  5. I use it on the Super Hornet and there's a few tweaks I used but it'll function the same, just you won't get the numbering system.
  6. This may help: http://www.thirdwire.com/man/sf2/Strike_Fighters_2.htm
  7. And just in case somebody missed it... updates to the E and F cockpits with working rudder pedals: SH Cockpit Update.7z
  8. Cockpit update for the E and F model (still no word on the G specific version), with moving rudder pedals. SH Cockpit Update.7z
  9. Yep, the Phantom is good for rocketing and stuff like that, but then again, it's heavy and well.... not fun for a maneuvering fight, but as a target it's easy.
  10. That's fine SkateZilla but just wondering Maybe Spinners but this is kinda why we're leaving SF2, and not created by me, so I tend to just go with the topic since essentially it is on topic.
  11. I don't think I can wrangle an AFM... that's beyond me
  12. Not bad... though it would need animating and a bit more touchup though And don't forget 6DOF and all that...
  13. Yeah.. the mission editor... which needs some fixin'
  14. Take it slow is my recommendation. My first DACTs back then as you may have read, started off with me with missiles and them with guns. Then I got a bit more comfortable and now ran it with missiles and still do. But I think you need to fly a jet and get used to it before you fight it. Of course when you get more experience you can pick up a jet, and figure out it's maneuverability and go from there. But start off with a Phantom, as it's to me anyway a good "warm up" jet as while it can burn, it can't turn very well as an opponent, giving you time to work on getting in the kill slot, either for guns or missiles. And just a note, the Atolls on the Fishbeds (and if my mind serves me right) carry Atolls, which are equivalent to AIM-9Bs, even the newer ones so you have to worry about it getting a rear aspect shot on you. Everything is cake even with 9Ls or 9Ms. The 9X or newer AAMs make it too damn easy.
  15. Ahh yeah, I think Matt is waiting in the shadows for me to move on to DCS because last time I asked he said something to the effect that I was mainly on SF2 and not to worry. But got it.
  16. With the exception of FSX, you're pretty much right, which is why I haven't removed it yet. The Crimea... a bit old if you ask me.
  17. Have to say, the Sufa is a real treat to fly, thanks!
  18. Did a test drive of the new (better) Sufa, nice work!
  19. Ahh gotcha, nothing soon then, but then again Coretex will take a while anyway, so no rush.
  20. Open the Options.ini and go to Singlemission and adjust the dates there. StartYear=1970 EndYear=2020 That'll fix that problem...
  21. Matt Wagner is on my Facebook, or just PM them to Wags on the ED Forums, would be cool to see.
  22. That sucks... would have had a nice deck to land on... but I haven't been on there in so long anyway, so I'll stick to FSX and SF2. When they release a two-seater Super I'll probably move on to that.
  23. Wow... I wish my Mission Editor wasn't so borked that I can't do DACT, in a Super Hornet it's easy meat, but to each their own...
