  1. I mean I'm not saying its crap, it just doesn't lift my skirt you know? So its not bad, I just don;t have any personal need to fly it I guess.
  2. True, given the F-35 you simply don't need stealth for CAS, because it's quite obvious you're coming in for a run, regardless of weaponry, and we all know the power of a radar is going to see you, as well golly gee willickers, you're out in the fracking open so... yeah. Which is why I love jets with more pylons, bombas and missiles, and rocketas and bullet launchers are best.
  3. View File F/A-18C VFA-94 Retexture VFA-94 Retexture This is a simple retexture of the default VFA-94 F/A-18C skin that’s provided with the templates. Installation, simply put this in your fa-18c (or A if you want), and in the Paint Schemes drop down menu, select “VFA-94 Retexture”. 6. I've never touched the Lightning much more than take it for a quick spin and that was it so I couldn't honestly tell anybody what I thought. It was okay but realistically it was nothing exciting.
  7. If I was flying an A-10 I'd clean house much more than the Su's, but given the Russian procurement and tactical philosophy it's not surprising, they don't take a sophisticated approach as far as technology goes, and in the long run it to them doesn't matter. Sometimes you need those rockets and bombs to be effective. Than and they have enough tanks and artillery to handle fire support as well, in extremis in some cases
  8. Truth.
  9. Just a quick Hornet render test.
  10. Thanks for the approval!
  11. View File A-10A Pre-Production Scheme No. 1 Pre-Production No. 1 Before the Camouflage legacy of the A-10, this was one of the proposed schemes. Installation: Simply unzip the folder and extract the file into your Bazar\Liveries\A-10A (or optionally the C, though the only oddity noticed is the antenna behind the cockpit, otherwise it’s identical mapping) directory and go into the simulation go to the Payload section and for the Liveries drop down menu select “Pre-Production No. 1” and go fly. 14. A "cheap" skin I'll get uploaded shortly.
  15. She's a beauty, too bad the Russians went Mig...
  16. Sorry it took so long... other than the Bradleys (man they were tenacious) it appears I didn't hit... anything, but overall a good general idea. There were no SAMs but it's a good habit to practice (ejecting flares) and I had to ditch as my gear wouldn't go down (Grr...) The mission is also re-adjusted, to shorten the track as well as overall flight and made the Bradleys clump together as well. If Labels work (didn't for me, the muzzle flashes were a good cue) then you can get a grasp. Su33CAS.7z
  17. I think so (there was that not adopted "Peanut" scheme that's all I'm aware of) but in my internets travels I found this site which seems to confirm it: http://dstorm.eu/pages/en/usa/a-10.html Also I just got back from my walk, so let me get a shower in and I'll record that track for you as well. I haven't forgotten... Mind you I've never done skin work so my normal reference workflow never included it (I like it supporting me that's for sure....) as I just wasn't interested at the time, but it's just another jet
  18. Its only unfortunate though that we have blow them out of the sky . I'll get off my butt and get in the F-5 and go with it and see how it goes. But yeah man great work!

  22. I got the crests sized pretty good (I think, seems good anyway) so when I wake up with a fairly fresh mind I can see how it looks and probably upload after that. I wish Veteran's Day was longer but it is what it is.
  23. Well I got to finish up that A-10 skin so I'll muck with it tomorrow and see what I can get for you.
  24. Moved the tailcode a bit, and went with a bird circa 1990 (given the reference from Airliners.net) just to get something going, though methinks that the crests are a bit small, so I'll probably tweak them a bit larger.
  25. Er... odd I don't know how to describe it... I stay away from official terms as I'm a more hands on guy. but from what i can think it's pressing the advantage against the attacker in a vertical fight. Usually "press" is usually in fighter jock terms (Caesar can probably tell it better) is go for the attack, i.e. get aggressive, so if you "press" the attack it means to start pushing for the advantage, etc. and get the kill regardless of aspect between you and the opposing fighter, and especially if you know you have the advantage, so you push to get into a good firing position. Admittedly I don't take the time to do research on the stuff, I just go with layman's terms (because really in most sense I approach it that way) since that makes more sense than highfalutin terms.
