  1. Actually the numbers sort of work. First 3 aircraft have numbers, but not the rest of the flight .
  2. I can't get the numbers to work in a suez campaign with the Israeli NF13. The lead is always 50, but no numbers on anyone else, no matter what I try.
  3. Wrench Would it be possible for some enterprising modder (wink, wink) to turn this gunval sabre into a Hog sabre stand-in until the real H comes along?
  4. Why is it sometimes when a carrier mission starts there are aircraft in front of me and I can't take off without hitting them so I have to restart the mission? Also, what is the purpose of the new speech ini file?
  5. Baffmeister, thank you very much for the MaxVisibleDistance advice. I was flying as a red in a 1956 Europe campaign and I couldn't figure out why F-86Ks were invisible to us. Changed distance to 8400, like all other Sabres.
  6. Stary's MiG-15 pits are amazing, but I have 1 problem. When I return to front view, the cockpit "drops" and I have to hit the period key to get the view back up. How can I fix this?
  7. These are great. Thanks. Maybe I will get them. Would it be wrong if I named the pilot flying the California Phantom "Dino Martin"? On second thought, never mind!
  8. Interested in the $2.99 skins/textures come with SF2 F-4D/E download from Thirdwire. Does anyone know what skins/textures exactly are included? Are they useful for NATO fighers 5? Thanks.
  9. I didn't realize KTAS was knots. Makes sense now. thanks!
  10. AT 20000 feet, KIAS is 360, KTAS is 499 (at full throttle). Still seems a bit slow for an aircraft rated at around 580 mph at that altitude.
  11. Noticed with Meteors (both TW and user-made) that trying to intercept Tu-16s at 20,000 feet is like a fat man chasing a trolley. Top speed of any Meatbox at that altitude is about 350 kts when it should be nearly 200 kts more! Can this be fixed in data.inis?
  12. http://combatace.com/topic/86726-f-84eg-cockpit/ I use this cockpit for the F-84F. Should be much better than the F-86 pit for an early F-105
  13. Meteor NF14 belly tank won't drop. Can that be fixed?
  14. This is great, thanks! Even the cockpit is nice. Using it in the sea venom.
  15. Thanks again! This is super helpful. Now I've got some vintage birds to download.
  16. Thanks. I'll check it out. I was amazed at how propeller-heavy Soviet fighter squadrons were in 1948. Even lend-lease Kingcobras still in the mix.
  17. Thinking about putting together a 1948 Europe Campaign (Berlin Blockade/Airlift goes south and war breaks out etc.). Found great site for Soviet OOB, http://www.ww2.dk/new/air%20force/regiment/iap/iap.htm. But is there anything comparable for listing US and allied air OOB in Europe at the time? Thanks for your help.
  18. Does anyone know where or if Edward's Taiwan Straits 1958 campaign is still available for download? Want to try adapting it for SF2. Thanks.
  19. Does anyone know where or if Edward's Taiwan Straits 1958 campaign is still available for download?
  20. How does the blue side win this campaign? Even with liberal use of nukes by the blue side the Reds always overrun Taiwan.
  21. Just wondering if anyone has done a Republic of China F-84G skin? That would be great for the Formosa campaign.
  22. Installed OFF. Plays fine except for two minor points" 1. Even when a mission is completed successfully, briefing says mission was aborted--yet still a success? 2. Chinese destroyers not making engine/underway sounds even though sound.wavs installed correctly.
  23. I have SF2 and all the other SF2 sims and both expansion packs merged and patch to July 2012. The version of SF2NA I have is the March 2012 release. Right now I have it as a separate install but now I want to merge with the others. But it won't let me because it's an earlier version. Any way of getting around this? Thanks
  24. OK, just PM me, since it can't be discussed publicly
