You guys hit the nail on the head with why I put the CFTs in the wing root as it makes much more sense aerodynamically. The bottom pic with the CFTs higher up on the fuselage was an after though when I tried to make it look a bit more 'sexy' lol. The down side of the CFTs in the wing roots is the spoilers need to be bolted shut as they hit the CFTs. I chose not to reinstate the old avionics hump and convert it to a fuel tank as I wanted to do something a bit different. Engine wise I am thinking of a non afterburning version of the Super Hornets General Electric F414 which is what Singapore did with the General Electric F404 for their A-4SU Super Skyhawks. Radar will be the A/NAPG-66 with the MLU upgrade or Elta EL/M-2032 since they are both already cleared for the A-4 and work with the AIM-120. One of the cannons will be removed to make way for a ECM Jammer and the remaining cannon will be replaced with a 27mm Mauser BK-27 Cannon. -

Here is my RNZAF version in Factory Grey, the second and third images are markings for a USAF squadron set up to train New Zealand F-16 pilots in the states. US owned aircraft have US markings and Kiwi owned aircraft have RNZAF markings with USAF tail codes (like the US squadron set up to train Singaporean pilots does in real life): -
Just noticed this topic and upgraded all my nuclear weapons to Lexx's effects and WOW how impressive! Much better than the NukeExplosionEffect and the different sized effects with different yield weapons makes it much more realistic. Now back to WW III

Small fix for the RAAF F/A-18F sorry guys, download the fixed FA-18F_RAAF.ini file, un pack it and drop it in the 'FA-18F_RAAF ' folder allowing it to over-ride. The problem is the 'AircraftFullName=F/A-18F Block II/+ Super Hornet (RAAF)' line is to long and may cause a crash when trying to make a custom SEAD single mission so it needs to be shortened to the following: 'AircraftFullName=F/A-18F Block II/+ Super Hornet RAAF' FA-18F_RAAF.7z

I have had it happen from time to time and like you rebuilding the vertion.ini file and optionsini file seems to fix it. I also seem to be getting more and more random crashes during a game to :( -

The Israeli Elta EL/M-2032 Radar is suppose to be able to fit in a Skyhawk, in fact the old Kuwaiti A-4KU Skyhawks that are now used by the Brazilian Navy (and now renamed AF-1) are rumoured to be possibly receiving the EL/M-2032 in the upgrade they are currently undergoing. I quite often play around with real world and fictional Skyhawk upgrades so here is a few bits and pieces you might find useful. I use the Kestrel cockpit as an updated A-4 Cockpit by removing the side stick controller, changing some of the instruments to get rid of any thing to do with moving nozzles etc and changing the view angles/ position etc. I've uploaded my A-4K Kahu cockpit/ avionics, the cockpit/ avionics from my 'interpritaion' of the Brazilian A-4KU/ AF-1 upgrade which has the Elta EL/M-2032 radar and an 'A-4 Body' texture from my A-4SU Super Skyhawk with its quadruple countermeasure launchers along with the required changes to the data.ini. The A-4K APG-66NZ has the TWS mode enabled but I have changed the symbology and function to represent the 'Situational Awareness Mode' (SAM) function that the some of the APG-66 radars had. Applying the F-16 MLU radar update to the AGP-66NZ radar the A-4K Kahu already had should enable it to fire semi-active radar guided missiles along with active radar guided missiles? My suggestion for the cannon replacements would be the 27mm Mauser BK-27, it should fit in the old colt cannon bays without to much trouble and you could have two. You could also put the old avionics hump back on but use it as an extra internal fuel tank if fuel is an issue for the new engine.

I have been down this road and tried everything but ended up having to re-install windows. Microsoft help forums are a good place to start but if I were you I would do a windows restore ASP to a date at least a week before your first Blue Screen of Death. -

Here is a fun work WIP of the IAI F-16A/B 'ACE' Upgrade. http://www.iai.co.il/17866-23270-en/Business_Areas_Military_Aircraft_Upgrades.aspx?btl=1 The cockpit is the F-22A changed to display single engine data with F-16 avionics and the Elta EL/M-2032 radar. The Skin for the prototype F-16B needs a bit more work.
