View File Royal New Zealand Airforce DH Venom Skin UPDATED 31/01/11 Royal New Zealand Airforce DH Venom Skin For use with the SF2 DH Venom by Paulopanz found here http://combatace.com...11004-dh-venom/ Instillation: Place files in apropriate location and allow to override (adds correct RNZAF years to Userlist.ini) History: Venoms were lent to the Royal New Zealand Air Force by the RAF to supplement the RNZAF’s Vampires and were used in the Malayan Emergency where they operated by No. 14 Squadron. UPDATED 31/01/11 RAF letters added to wing tip tanks after Pasko helped me out with the mesh names. However there is a small bit of bleed through on the bottom of the tanks from the decal. Because of this there are two folders in the download: One with the wing tip decals which is historically accurate. And one without the decals if you can’t live with the bleed through lol. You choose. Submitter dtmdragon Submitted 01/21/2011 Category Vampire
  2. Does anyone have any solid information or references photos of Royal New Zealand Air Force Vampire markings over the years they served? From the photos I can find from that period all I can establish is they had a bare metal finish with Fern Leaf RNZAF roundels. However I have seen models done of RNZAF vampires in green camo and with RAF style roundels. And as far as Iam aware the only time a vampire has had the kiwi roundels has been on restored war birds flying today etc. Can anyone shed some more light? I want to know what markings were worn, during what time periods, if any markings other than natural metal and fern leaf RNZAF rondals were even used. Thanks, Dan.

  4. Yes of course! I didn't even realize where they were from myself lol The reason being I originally had the A-4N from your War for Israel before I decided to do my own based on the Third Wire model and my own data from my A-4M mod. Yours was the inspiration. They must be left over from the folder after I replaced all the other ini files etc, I hope you dont mind, I can replace them if you like?
  5. Updated Today 19/01/11 - Mach limit extended from the stock figure to one that allows braking of the sound barrier as Skyhawks were known to do in a dive. - Weight limits on the weapon stations changed after I found some reference material with the exact figures of each pylon for the M & N model not just the total increase over previous models

  7. I don't think I stated it obviously enough but you will need Strike fighters 2 Israel for the stock A-4 E & H

These Aircraft were obtained from the Israeli Air force via the Alpha Project in 1980. They stayed in service until 2003 when they were replaced by two Russian Su-27SK and two Su-30MK. However the Indonesian Air Force is planning to reactivate the A-4 Skyhawks by buying spare parts after the United States ended its weapons and spare part sales embargo. The aircraft made its final flight on 5 August 2005 Includes 3 different skins: 11 SkU Camo (Tan and Green), 12 SkU Camo (Tan and Blue) & 12 SkU Camo (Tan and Blue) Low-Viz Included is a folder called “2005 plus” which if installed will extend the operational years to 2015 with a ‘very_rare’ availability representing the above proposed reactivation. These are basically the stock E and H Ahit with skins upgraded for SF2 from the Wings over Timor campaign. Credit goes to Third Wire and the ‘A Team’ I made this after Wrench released the SF2 Modern Darwin terrain and I wanted some half decent opposition, to go along with some skins I updated for the SU-27SK & F-5, for the Aussie Hornets and Kiwi Skyhawks to do battle with. INSTILATION: Drop files in to appropriate folders, override when asked to. NOTE: Has only been tested/used in a merged install of ALL SF2 titles but should only require SF2I Credit goes to Third wire for the game and A-4 models, Dev A-Team of Capun and CB Productions for permition to use thier modified skins. 10. Will do, sorry guys. Just to reiterate you will need the Europe SF2 expansion pack 2 to make use of the B.2 in this download as it is a third wire aircraft made flyable plus a RNZAF skin/decals. But the Mk12 in this download is a complete 3rd party aircraft that should work on any/all SF2 titles (tested on a all game merged install only though).
  11. Not needed as it is a stock third wire aircraft that has been made flyable with the addition of the cockpit etc

To install place files in appropriate folders and override. Make sure you read the original readme as well. You will need the Europe expansion Pack 2 to use the B.2 History on the RNZAF Canberra: In 1958, while awaiting delivery of their own Canberras, the RNZAF "hired" a squadron of 17 B.2s and three T.4s from the RAF as part of the Commonwealth Strategic Reserve. The B.2s and one T.4 were used, from 1958 until 1962, by the then newly formed RNZAF 75 Squadron. The squadron was based at RAF Tengah (Singapore) and became involved in active service during the Malayan emergency with their first bombing raid being carried out on 30 September 1959. In February 1958 New Zealand placed a contract for 11 aircraft for use by 14 Sqd, the contract called for nine B(I)12 and two T.13 Canberras. The B(I)12 was the equivalent of the RAF's B(I)8 but with auto-pilot and modified navigation kit. The T.13 was equivalent to the T.4 but with auto-pilot and an extra bomb bay fuel tank. 14 Squadron was based at RNZAF Ohakea in New Zealand Initially the squadron continued to use their D.H. Vampires for rocket projectile firing practice as the B(I)12s did not get this capability until December 1961. Trials then began with wing-pylon mounted Microcell rocket launchers each holding 37 rockets. Gradually the squadron achieved operational status in all its roles, including anti-shipping, and took part in deployment exercises to Singapore as part of the Commonwealth Reinforcement Force. In late 1962, the OCU was incorporated into the squadron as "C" Flight giving 14 Squadron a strength of ten B(I)12s and two T.13s. In 1964 the B(I)12s received their camouflage paint scheme ready for deployment to Singapore. 14 Sqd arrived in Singapore in September 1964 to assist in Operation Confrontation against Indonesia. A month later they went to the forward base at Labuan but were moved back to Tengah a week later! 14 Sqd stayed as part of the FEAF and, in March 1965, moved to RAAF Butterworth in Malaya. Not for long however. In 1966 the squadron returned to RNZAF Ohakea. Sadly, in the final month at Butterworth, NZ6104 crashed during a low-level RP attack at the China Rock range. Back in NZ, the decision had been taken to phase out the B(I)12 which duly took place in July 1970. New Zealand's Canberras were sold as a job-lot to India in November 1970. Some are still flying today Submitter dtmdragon Submitted 01/16/2011 Category Canberra

  18. I just checked my game and they are the same, can you post a screen shot?
  19. Improvements to the Falklands mod Lynx and Westland Seaking: - Search radars for both aircraft -Weapons positions on the lynx adjusted so the Sea Skua missiles are staggered on the pylons and torpedoes/bombs are carries on the station closest to the fuselage -Addition of a forward firing door gunner for the Lynx that can be loaded via a dedicated weapons pylon, use the airbrake key to open and close the cabin/gunners door -Additional crew and seats inside the Seaking fuselage -Adjusted the Sea skua missile by changing its guidance type to CGR as the way it was it could not hit a moving ship. To install: Step 1 -Simply put files in correct location and make sure you over-ride all files when asked. Step 2 -Because of the size of limit on the size of uploads to this post you will need to download the SF2 Lynx here ( http://combatace.com...2-has3-for-sf2/ ) and copy and past the cockpit folder from the SF2 Lynx HAS2 into the Lynx HAS2 in the Falklands campaign after completing step 1. Make sure you over ride when asked. Dan.
  20. I have updated the lynx from the Falklands campaign with a working search radar and a forward firing door gunner that can be loaded via a dedicated weapons station. I have also added a 360 degrees search radar to the Westland seaking. Would you like me to upload these or is there a reason you left them without working radars etc? Cheers, Dan.
  21. Thanks you saved me the trouble :)
  22. View File MV-22 for SF2 This is the MV-22B Osprey v2.2 by Zurawski updated for the Strike Fighters 2 Series. As well as updating it for SF2 I have added a few extra bits: -The BAE Remote Guardian GAU 17 minigun turret. It can be loaded and unloaded via a dedicated weapons station but can be fired forwards by the pilot only. -A ‘ghost’ BAE Remote Guardian GAU 17 minigun turret. This the best way I could represent the Remote Guardian turret engaging targets to defend the aircraft. What it is is a gunner station located in the correct position that fires the GAU 17 at any enemy air targets. However there is no 3d model to go with it. So what you get is the GAU 17 minigun turret that you can see and fire straight ahead. When the AI gunner engages a target you will see the muzzle flash and tracer fire coming from mid air in the area where the GAU 17 minigun turret is. If you don’t like the idea of this there is a second data.ini file you can use which will disable the AI gunner. -Updated pilot skins Note: has only been tested on an all game merged vertion of SF2 but should be fine on any individual installs (I hope) Also make sure you read the original README for flight instructions etc To install just place files in correct locations and over ride Submitter dtmdragon Submitted 01/13/2011 Category MV-22
