  1. Wow I mean just Wow.
  2. Yeah double checking on it fitting in the case. This thing is a no go. I can put the side panel on with about inch clearance (again this me doing what I can without actually dealing with my CPU fan). But from looking at things again in a new light and dangle it looks like the ram chips will be getting in the way. If not then it's going to be a really tight fit. This is why I'm glad there is a return policy. Here's the fan I have now (loud little sucker)
  3. I know this is common knowledge for most of you and may even classify as a stupid question. But because I'm unfamiliar with these things I'm asking here. I have a loud CPU fan. Turns out that's just how the stock fans are. So I ordered another CPU fan, thinking that this thing would be just as small as the stock one turns out it's 120mm. Copper heat pipes, LED lights, ultra quiet. My thing is can this thing fit? is there a bracket or something to hold the thing in place so it won't crash into the video card? Just eyeballing it looks like a tight fit [insert that's what she said pun here]. Heads up my replies my be ultra late responses. No I'm touching my CPU fan ... I got lucky the last time but will not be taking chances this time.
  4. Some Real News for a change (okay this is satire but still awesome)

  6. You the first impression of that site isn't very welcoming. Warnings all over the place. Threats of bans and IP blocks. He's also asking for personal information but has no privacy policy that clearly explains how the information is being handled. My little website has to have one! And all I have are contact forms! So where is my information being stored? How is it being stored? Who is providing security for it?
  7. It's one thing to see things on the news, and read about them in the paper. But until you actually hear about it from someone else with first hand experience... it changes everything. You stay safe and I hope Matthew (ironically the name of someone I really do not like) doesn't cause too many problems.
  8. Sir, I must say that is very interesting ... but I thought Al Gore invented the internet. Off topic. Hidden in spoiler.
  9. Man Windows is screwing up so bad these days I swear I'm wishing Dos were still around. Okay I was being dramatic there. Seriously I said this once and I mean it when I say I could make an OS, it would have so simple to use though. I don't get it. Why do they feel the need to release a new discombobulated version every time you turn around? Like Eric said they're forcing crap on people and eventually the people will push back or walk away. Look at a programs like Open Office made by Apache. That right there kept from spending money on Microsoft's Office Suite. (Something I remember being free) There are so many open source programs out there and I think in time there will be one that will rival Windows and will command the same respect that Windows has/had.
  10. Am I the only that remembers a time when they said the internet was going to be free of advertisements? Okay, seriously. I want to backup everything Erik is saying about running a website. I have a small little something-something on the side and holy crap can barely cover it. Websites aren't as cheap as you think they are. The sad thing is that the mountains I see are cracks in a sidewalk compared to running something this big. But working on my own site has given me much, much, appreciation for what Erik is doing. It's one of those walk a mile in another person's shoes. I only took a step.
  11. Hey Raven, I'm so sorry to that you're going to be fighting this battle. I join the others in being here for you, rooting you on and hoping for the best. Sincerely Skyviper
  12. Oh I know I don't have a leg to stand on ... I mean Jane's Attack Squadron along with CFS3. I have love for those bombers too. And (maybe because I'm 35 minutes away from the world's largest C-130 base) I have some love for those Herky Birds. .
  13. Man those WCW game were crazy with controls back then. But those old school games did a some cool things that the ones don't do a lot. They have those extra little things. For instance Jet Fighter 3 .. you had people sending you emails about working with the F-22, out of cockpit experience I believe is something we talked about here before. I saw a video yesterday that said, in the game, to toss a characters letter into the water. Well that letter is in the instruction booklet that came with the game. When you did that a secret code appeared once water made contact with it. You're right some of those games did have messed up controls! Sadly there is one title that could've went somewhere but greed killed. It was part of the Capcom five.
  14. Did anyone ever get nostalgic about a game, and when you played it again your remembered why stopped playing it?
  15. Yeah I can't play my old mech commander game on Windows 10. I sill say XP was the best windows they made. I wish I had the money to make an OS.
  16. Again these rails f***? I'm not sure what Google Translate is talking about but ... Yeah I'd been getting off too.
  17. I'm wondering that myself.

  21. Starting to fly Huey somewhat decently. Landing is still ... problematic... uh do you have a spare fire extinguisher?

  22. Bought UH-1H DCS Module today ... now I have to wait for my slow internet connection to complete the update of DCS world.

  23. They got back in touch with us very quickly. I was promptly connected with Leslie's representative (mentioned in the end credits of full version). Boeing is truly a professional company. Most folks wouldn't give us the time or day. Honestly I thought Boeing wouldn't even reply. I sent the query and a few hours later had several department heads emailing us back. Boeing Corporation is truly a professional company and if they can give CombatACE, this humble site of ours, the amount of respect and courtesy they have. Then you know they'll take care of their customers. Also I mentioned a new series that is in the works. Some department heads are willing to work with us on that too. So stay tuned to CombatACE for more aviation based videos. I'd love to tell you more about them ... but then I'd have to kill you...unless you're on the writing staff...but then you'd have to bring the snacks.
  24. I thought most of you would find this interesting.
