  1. I use them on ground targets also, they are much more effective the wasting all the ammo in the one gun you have. I have shot down a plane using them out of desperation once,I was really surprised that I hit the dern thing. Beard
  2. I've heard the JU52's referred to as "Iron Annies" Beard
  3. I'm gonna toss in with November 11 for obvious reasons, sorry if someone else also picked the obvious. Beard
  4. That is a pretty interesting segment. He puts out a lot of information in those little clips. Beard
  5. It was neat the way he explained the throttle mixture operation. Always wondered how that worked. Beard
  6. At first glance it looks like there aren't any pictures of downloadable skins, which is a really big area for OFF users. I have a few that I have posted in the past. How do we go about uploading them? Thanks for all your hard work. Beard
  7. They forgot the mallet for clearing the guns ;) Beard
  8. I thought the Camel was also called the "Ensign Eliminator". Beard
  9. Do they take Pay-Pal? Beard
  10. I too am running Win7/64 with no problems. Beard
  11. Looks like a good design for an ultralight. Beard
  12. In the words of the immortal Baron Von Helton (RB3d fame) the quadraplane FM was porked, ;) Great find. Beard
  13. That early Northrup flying wing is as sexy as a cheerleader at a homecoming game. Beard
  14. This is a really nice mod, it makes my N28 sound much better and I like the changes to the gun sounds also. Aroth you are supposed to type the in pig latin so you wife wont be able to de-cipher the message ;) Beard
  15. If I remember correctly, he made reference to it one time. He queried Flo about giving up Rugby and returning to Signwriting. Beard
  16. I have managed to sidetrack myself into Card Modeling (building paper models). There are a couple reasons for that, but mainly the summers here in Red Bluff are quite bright and warm. The room I now have my computer in will heat up to 90 degrees or so if I am doing graphic intensive persuits, I also have to block off the window (and therefore ventilation) to use my TrackIR. Olham were you aware that Andy Cap's official job was as a Signwriter? Beard
  17. If you are new, you are probably using the tac screen (the little cirlce thing that has the waypoint line). I use it and have flown this since Phase One. Anyhoo, if you get disoriented or run out of ammo or are beat up or sumpin', hit Shift W and it will advance the waypoints. When it stops advancing follow that heading and it will take you home. Beard Gee Bullethead you beat me by a minute, lol. Beard
  18. I thought it ment "Front" Beard
  19. That first picture looks like the one that was sitting in front of the 11th Cav Barracks at Ft. Meade in 1972. Yes I did stroke it a few times and was amazed at the rivets (knowing what happens to them when they are hit by small arms fire). They also had a Renault in front of the 11th Cav museum. Beard
  20. About a hundred years ago when I was assigned to Ft. Meade, I learned that Jousting was the state sport of Maryland. Anyhoo, I went down to the Washington DC Mall (I know that isn't in Maryland) to see a competition. I was really suprised to see young ladies in proper riding atire using British style saddles, riding Arabian horses, going full tilt booggie at a small brass ring hung from some sort of apparatise with a tapered lance about 10' long. Apparently that was jousting in Maryland. It was amazing how many could get the ring. Beard
  21. My signature says it all.....Welcome back stump. Beard
  22. Actually here in upstate California, the temps have been very mild, with only a couple of day over 100. Just hope the folks from downstate Califronia don't think that is the norm and move up here. Beard
  23. Nice to hear from you again Ras, don't be a stranger. Beard
