I believe VonS has mentioned that with his mod on you’ll lose some ambient sounds aswell. I tried Panama Reds mod just has a quick test and I believe I lost some sounds there aswell. My opinion fwiw, I agree with others ..it’s the smoothest version so far it loads incredibly quick, beautiful sound beautiful visuals. I’m keeping mods off for the time being but..it could help folks with less powerful rigs that might not mind losing some of BHaH II features so for that cheers Redwolf for testing and thanks VonS for the mod.

Thanks VonS and Redwolf for testing, I love the new sounds so for now I’m keeping stock. also I feel even though I lose a few FPS, the whole experience feels smoother than ever so I don’t even notice the loss. Cheers again guys. regards Adger.

Im going to do exactly the same Harry, ive had a small FPS drop but it all feels smoother im leaving any mods off for the time being. The lads have done a absolutely cracking job.

Are you losing much in the visual stakes Redwolf? smaller draw distance ect? cheers

Good post RedWolf..My 2p,s worth..my fps is down say 5% but it feels a hell of a lot smoother, Trackir is smooth as silk, looks visually much much better. Also ive noticed that from campaign to flight screen is waaayyy quicker, wonder if the scenery draws in quicker now and thats why to me it seems "smoother" Love everything about it, the Scenery, goggles Skins, Music+Sounds ..still in training so haven't had my Ar$e handed to me yet by the AI . Absolutely phenomenal work ..BH&H II and WOTR really do have an exciting future ahead. Edit: Sorry Trooper i tried editing my post and ended up deleting hence the new post

Can be mate, it gives you a line on the display to your objective,distance ect. ..its good for anyone starting out who wants to familiarise say ..like formation flying. It shows a red line on the Tac that helps keeping and being in formation. Its a really useful aid for some. Helps with things like landing at the right field, flying in the right direction ect.

Hi all just a few tips IF you use the TAC display.. If you find the TAC display too large you can resize it by going into C:\Users\(your name)\AppData\Roaming\OBD_Games\OBDWW1 Over Flanders Fields and finding the ViewUI.xml file (Backup 1st). Right click and open with Notepad, Sroll down near the bottom until you find </HUDVsiMetric> <TacticalDisplay BGIMage="tactical_display.dds" BGPos="0 0" BGSize="512 512" BGScale="0.30" BackColor="0x1f0000FF" Mode="0"/> <TacticalDisplayMetric BGIMage="tactical_display.dds" BGPos="0 0" BGSize="512 512" BGScale="0.30" BackColor="0x1f0000FF" Mode="0"/> And change the BGscale= from 0.30 to 0.25 or even 0.20 if you like on BOTH lines,it'll make your Tac display smaller Save and exit...EDITED (Thanks POL) make sure filetype is set to *.* first in notepad, then save as ViewUi.xml otherwise it will save it with .txt on the end which won't work When on the main flight screen Shift+T Turns TAC On/Off It (Can be dragged if required to anywhere on the screen if required with the mouse button) pressing T will toggle between aircraft,structures, airfields ect Shift+D toggles messages on screen and CTRL+D will give you more advice ie (when to turn on engines ect) Hope this helps any newbies or even old heads. Training with Captain Triggers,just simply beautiful.. You guys are in for a treat, the sounds are fantastic, wires creaking engines clunking and purring..the wind and rain on canvas/wood. Wait until you see the night lighting the scenery is so realistic the colours, the skins..im not going to spoil it for you ..just fly and find out. Brilliant work WM, POL ,Creaghorn and OVS .Matt Milne for the brilliant musical score..Cheers to all the beta testers and anyone ive accidently left out. Awesome work guys.

Few people asking over at Simhq about saving Skins ect Winder, i've personally deleted all traces of WOFF PE and noticed that the skin folder alone in BHaH II is 18.2 GB (impressive stuff). Any recomendations on what if anything can be kept? Congratulations on release it really does look and fly like a completely new sim.

Just Installed, setup my stick, graphic settings ect. Im going to start training again with Captain Triggers it feels like a new sim, no problems whatsoever so far ..love the map, absolutely love the colour photos. So far so good,great stuff Guys

Exactly what I did last night Baxter, took that old workhorse the Hurricane up for a dawn flight over the south coast, loved it..I cannot wait to see what the OBD lads come up with next regarding WOTR mate.

I can’t personally see you having any problems with that rig mate, you might possibly have to turn a few settings down, WOTR is really good in that regard but.. Keep scenery at 5 to see the white cliffs etc. I honestly believe that more optimisation will come in the future regarding WOTR, I’ve had no issues on a i7 4790k (slightly faster single core) than yours, 16gbRam and. Evga ftw 1070,

Looks and fly’s fantastic, AI is typical OBD (excellent),FM? I personally like the FM,also really good DM. Campaign mode at the moment it’s Battle of Britain only so shorter in length than WOFF but it is Harder on HW than WOFF like Redwolf has mentioned, 3 flyables..the Spit, Hurricane and Emil. Large quantities of craft in the air (can be toned down). Historically accurate skins, great workshop settings, also like WOFF fantastic immersion. Devs are planning to Work on WOTR after BHaH II is released,it’ll get better and better over time. And..29.99 The Spit for MSFS 2020 alone is something like 25.99, so if you’ve got the system for it then imo it’s a steal.
