  1. Maybe not quite OT, but in the training I've had in order get my Tennessee handgun permit, and to sharpen my skills, the overriding message is to avoid situations in which you may be shot or may have to shoot someone. Let's hope we all die not knowing the answer to the OP's question.
  2. When can I buy one? http://www.military.com/news/article/fligh...397&wh=news
  3. You just need to follow the instructions to the letter. Don't use any other weapons packs. Make sure your install paths are all correct.
  4. I would expect that functionaility to be ironed out as time goes on.
  5. This collision point: CollisionPoint[005]= 0.00,-6.88,-0.81 Seems to be set a little low given the shape of the F-84s rear fuselage. Try setting it to: CollisionPoint[005]= 0.00,-6.88,-0.58 And see if that gives a little more clearance. Of course, these early jets were notorious for long takeoff runs. It was said that if a runway was built that spanned the earth, Republic would build an airplane that needed all of it. This plane should probably be set to MinBaseSize=LARGE.
  6. Careful there! Your tail feathers will be singed!
  7. I don't. I think you are a disgusting piece of trash with serious mental problems. I strongly urge you to seek professional help.
  8. Some earlier Marks would really be great in NATO Fighters.
  9. But of course! Got the '62 and '68 planesets basically converted. I have one minor problem with Seasoned WOE that I need to get with Stary on. The main thing consuming time is converting all the weapons to the new system.
  10. NATO Fighters IV+ CF-104s of No. 427 Squadron streak low over the German countryside, 1968.
  11. This is one of those cases where it would be awesome if the AI actually had to pay attention to their fuel. What you did (running away at treetop level and full power) was the prescibed tactic for evading MiGs in the A-7. The Corsair was reasonably quick down there while still being fuel-efficient, and the MiGs would have had to use their afterburners to pursue, greatly limiting their ability to catch you. Oh well.
  12. Worked on getting NF4 converted to SF2E this morning. Just got back from a romp in the Corvette! Nothing at all planned.
  13. Splitting the decals into a separate folder is not a Vista thing. I'm not sure why TK did it that way. Anyway, note also that you do not have to use the default location under C:\Users... 1. Edit the StrikeFighters2 Europe.ini file and change the path to Options.ini to the location of your choice (mine is D:\Program Files (x86)\ThirdWire\Strike Fighters 2 Europe\Options.ini) 2. Copy the Options.ini file from C:\Users... to the new location 3. Edit the Options.ini file and change all paths to the previous location to the new location 4. Launch the game to recreate the mod folders under the new path Your install is now self-contained and you don't need the folders under C:\Users... anymore.
  14. Wow that is a considerable increase in detail for the radars and countermeasures. Light sim my arse.
  15. Agreed on the Cantina thing. Lucas' desire to rape men started with Han Solo and reached its ultimate expression in Indy 4.

  17. Only the original trilogy is canon. Fie on the new stuff.
  18. One of the many little evolutions TK always throws in.
  19. I was waiting for someone to discover that, there are one or two other new AIs...
  20. I think I can speak for everyone who contributed to the NF series when I say thanks for that vote of confidence! Keep in mind though that the man hours that went into creating all of the mods in NF, and the time it took to integrate them, would require a price in excess of $250 if it were payware.
  21. The fact that there are any new things at all is a plus. Originally TK advertised these as Vista updates only.
