i used a usb stick with F-18...make sure in your settings that you have it configed for one..also check for newer drivers and then look in your control panel and reset your stick in the game controllers.

Zagnut which programs are you having trouble with...with LOMAC i had to get the exe fix for it.and now it works fine.had to launch it from this new exe but it seems to have fixed the problems.

what card are you using..I installed the new drivers and had all kinda trouble for awhile but things are starting to work on their own.Not sure what I did but it seems to have worked.Oh yeah..it was the 56.64 drivers.LOMAC was the main problem..and Strike Fighter has this really weird multi colored load screen problem

I just installed the 56. series drivers for my FX5700 ultra and I guess I'm going to have to roll them back to the 53s.lomac locks up and skips bad now..anybody else have this problem?ran perfect before with FPS in the low to mid 30s.

I must agree with most that it's hard to justify having to buy a new card just to play a game..or even upgrade your system just for a certain game...but from the business end money is money no matter where it comes from,if a company says"hey we'll give ya the money to develope your sim and all you have to do is...."then I can see their point also.it's a catch 22 for them.I'm sure a patch will come out that will fix the problem to a point..I mean you won't get all the features but just enough to play itlike they used to do with glide(for those of you who remember adding a VooDoo2 card or 2 just for glide)

I'm sorry to bust yalls bubble but I'm a CAPS fan!! I love to watch a good hockey match and therefore my opinion in bias,so I have refrained from posting on this is issue but I will say this..I'm seen people carried off on stratchers from football games from cheap shots and batters getting hit by pitchers who try to"back them off the plate"and getting hit by a 90+ mph fastball,for teh most part hockey is a great sport and yes theres fights but if you really watch a match theres not as much fighting as there is great skating,and fast paced end to end action.

Look in your Strike Fighters folder and open your controls folder..open the file there and print it out.also you can edit them in game.hope this helps also be sure to check the read me files with add-on aircraft as some have differnt things assigned to certain keys.

I have to add something...if people would have taken time to read what Fates said the reason he locked it was in his first post then alot of people would have been informed as to why and wouldn't have said what they did...Fates said there was to many topics in one thread...so that said why not just post all those different topics in their own thread....Fates,Madjeff,and the rest of the moderators here are no doubt the most laid back on the net...to say that the reason a thread is locked is merely because it can be done is just plain wrong.I have to agree with MadJeff and say if you really feel that way then Cya,I for one won't miss anyone with that attitude.

Lag monster shows up at the worst times...I see at UBI with guys running at warp speed then suddenly running backwards to where they started..or you can shot them a bunch of times and nothing..suddenly they are fine and kill you.I know it's not really a cheat but it really gets on my nerves,and I have had it happen to me as somebody tells me I warped and I couldn't tell it from my end. I understand this is a given in MP as not everybody has a cable or Faster connection.

I have found that cheaters are guys that THINK they're good but will never be more than barely passable,they brag about they're kills,but can't back them up...I've been fighting these guys since I first started playing on-line at the old MPlayer,or MPlague for those who remember it,and Heat..it kinda spilled over into Red Baron 2 and then RB3D..nothing like shooting a guy until your guns are empty from point blank range and watching him pull up into a vertical climb while accelerating in a plane that should have been flamed only to have him kill you with 1"super"bullet,then to other sims..so cheating is an on going battle...I see it alot at UBI in the Ghost Recon rooms...but I know most of the cheats there so I can find them fairly easily,and yes most won't play with them.all I can say is it's a lonely gaming experience once you're known as a cheat..and I'm sure that living with mommy is a big help as she will wipe your nose and butt and make it all better.

Chief, check your settings and also try it in outside view...rotate your view and see if you still don't have sound.you shouldn't have much inside the cockpit,buty outside you should have sound.

:D after you installed the F-4 J be sure to check your mission folder...comes with a few missions
