blimey !! yes summat like that LOL.....what I'd give to be able to use max.

I created one a while back with the rear canopy painted over, I think it was for one of the UK versions, the rear canopy entry was removed in Max to stop it opening and I removed the co pilot entry from the aircraft data INI.

Well..... I got it to open an SF2 NA terrain lod, couldn't get the texture or mesh to show though. Maybe this could eventually be of some use to our terrain experts.......way above my head though. I put the IcelandNA data ini in a folder of the same name & renamed the Mesh001 entry to LOD001 & the lod viewer opened it fine.....I suppose you would have to do this for each part of the terrain to build a complete picture from it.

LOL....shock, horror. I cant believe this guys stupidity for making these files so easy to get hold of, but how many of you have actually downloaded them ?? Lets face it though, I really do doubt if EVERY model or skin here at CA [or any other site for any other sim] has been made with fully paid for versions of max or photoshop........ & before you ask............yes mine are paid for !

Great tool, but I don't think it would be a good idea to be able to convert the lods for "remodelling" in Max, it would be a free for all and lead to all sorts of arguments.
