    I think I had it set up to use MF weapons, the tanks are the F-4G Hill Grey ones, everything appears as it should in "my install"....but thats not saying it will work for everybody...

    Looks like its the size of the decal as opposed to the size of the fin on the bmp....ie, if your decal is on a 512x512 file and virtually fills it, then the fin would also need cover roughly the same area on its bmp to get the same result. 72px/inch is constant regardless of the file size........ if you know what I mean.

    Getting rid of the white background & replacing it with a similar shade of green has cured all the white outlines for me.... btw....nice job.

    Tell me, I'm all ears, that was a wip pic I hadnt got round to the decals yet, but I'd be intrested to hear what font you would suggest, I spend ages messing with the horizontal/verticle scaling, the leading, tracking & kerning & sometimes they still dont look right so I end up making my own [which I find harder than skinning]. So if you already use an off the shelf font please fill me in......this is'nt a pissing contest.

    Ok Dave.....I weakened, curiosity got the better of me, nice model but silll a pig ugly plane..... :tomato2: Just a quick job......but I'm not gonna finish it.

    Pics only....and display the winners pic on the homepage for the month, its a shame to let the time & effort go to waste by dissapearing into the archives somewhere.

    I'm at work right now but IIRC Mike renamed the stock F-4D.LOD to something like F4DLORAN.LOD [going by what the config ini calls for] all I did was replace this with the stock entry & left the lod in the cat file....sorry if I'm not being very clear.

    For Mikes F-4D LORAN mod to work you need to rename the lod....look how its named in the ini, this caught me out too. OR just change the ini entry itself to the normal F-4D entry.
