Very,very nice...

Personally I think its a good thing to release stuff that's not 100% perfect [i do it all the time]........noboddy has yet picked up on a particular skin by me that says "Sundowner Tyres" on one of the tyres on the bmp....... . Also it is the best way of pleasing everybody, you get those that genuinely enjoy the mod for what it is, and you get to please those that like the sound of their own voice so much that they shout their OWN NAME when having sex.. :yes: :yes: :yes: :yes: :yes: ........ See.....everybody is happy...

I live in south Cheshire, not much snow here [as usual].....just the odd flurrie [sp?] which the local radio station is calling "blizzard conditions".....lol.

I was dragged here by USAFMTL......I was kicking and screaming like a girl at a Robbie Williams concert but it was too late, he locked the door & I've been trapped here ever since......

I normally shoot in RAW+JPEG[medium], it gives you the best of both worlds really, but you are right they take up a lot more space on the card [and take longer to write to it], cards are pretty cheap at the moment tho. once you get used to working with raw you wont look back IMO.

If it came with Digital Photo Professional (DPP), its usually a pretty good starting point, Zoom browser etc are not that bad but can be a bit of a resource hog, otherwise Photoshop Elements wont let you down. BTW was your previous 35mm a Canon too? My stuff: Canon EOS 20D Sigma 28-105 Sigma 50-500 & a bag full of memory cards...lol.

The only thing wrong that I can see is the your decal 1&2 entries are different scales.....maye the second one Scale=1.0, is covering the others, unlikley but worth looking at.

I think I had it set up to use MF weapons, the tanks are the F-4G Hill Grey ones, everything appears as it should in "my install"....but thats not saying it will work for everybody...

Looks like its the size of the decal as opposed to the size of the fin on the bmp....ie, if your decal is on a 512x512 file and virtually fills it, then the fin would also need cover roughly the same area on its bmp to get the same result. 72px/inch is constant regardless of the file size........ if you know what I mean.

Getting rid of the white background & replacing it with a similar shade of green has cured all the white outlines for me.... btw....nice job.

Tell me, I'm all ears, that was a wip pic I hadnt got round to the decals yet, but I'd be intrested to hear what font you would suggest, I spend ages messing with the horizontal/verticle scaling, the leading, tracking & kerning & sometimes they still dont look right so I end up making my own [which I find harder than skinning]. So if you already use an off the shelf font please fill me in......this is'nt a pissing contest.
