    BELL AH-1F COBRA ON SALE Ver 1.0 for SF2 June 2016. This is a third party add on of the AH-1F Cobra using models and cockpits created by me. The original flight model is standard as on many free to download helicopters. I have just modified it a bit. It is designed for and works only in the SF2 series. All of weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with this weapon pack. Standard commands for activating Cobra features: AIRBRAKES - sun filter/shader on off - just for fun no airbrakes so empty animation slot for use. ARRESTING HOOK - jump from pilot station to gunner station. LANDING GEAR - skid search light on/off at any speed. Dont forget to retract it because you wil be not able to shoot. ANIMATION 8 - ammo bay dooors ANIMATION 9 - gunner door (ext and cockpit view) ANIMATION 10 - pilot door (ext and cockpit view) ANIMATION 1 - NVG (It is not nvg but some greent filter) If you don't like it disable it in cockpitini file. This pack includes foreign users of F and E model Cobra. Royal Bahraini Air Force Jordanian Air Force Republic of Korea Army Aviation Thai Army All serial numbers are historicaly correct. As far as I know. If someone got some corrections to serials let me know. AH-1F was Step 3 upgrade program of Army Cobra. This variant was originally known as the AH-1S(MC) – Modified Cobra. In this model Army Cobra featured the three -barell 20mm M197 automatic cannon mounted in XM97 universal turret. The AH-1F also featured an improved rocekt management system for 2.75 inch rockets, an improved sighting system, and a more powerful electrical generator to support all new systems. It was later upgraded with engine inlet deflectors to allow using WFAR rockets with Mk66 motor. For take off: Around 75% of throttle vector - and then increase power to 70-85% (or more for quick lift) and pull controll stick little and snake will take off. Then reduce throttle vector as needed and reduce power to 69%. It should fly around 110kts now. 69% is about cruising speed. When on the ground you can see rotating blades for pitch and roll. Just additional and unnecesary thing (not visible so much when flying) but it is possible so it is there. Not working like i want but better then nothing. There are two different pylons on inboard stations one for rocketpods one for gunpods. Just to have a proper angle of fire with GP. It is not proper for real model but in my opinion best what can be done for SF engine. Rocket pods are ok with correct angle on inboard stations. NVG. Unfortunately there is no NVG in this game. I just added green "filter" to cockpit and you can activate it by default Animation 1 key. In external view ther will be little change in cockpit- unfortunately not moving with pilot/guner head. In copit view there is green glow and filter It is definitely not helping during night flight but this is beta version. Maybe one day real nvg will be possible here. If you dont like it disable it in cockpit.ini file. This feature apears only in National Guard 85 model and bonus, Weapons. Most of the weapon are same as in previous packs and are common to G/Q/S/P/E model. Including XM158 and M200/M260/M261 launchers and for smoe late models M260 and M261 with Mk66 motor rockets. TOWs BGM-71A/B/C/D There is additional optional Suppressed Exhaust loaded via weaponstation. Also here there is new M197 automatic cannon loaded via weaponstation. One more thing. I am using mostly standard weapon effects. Make sure to edit it your way if you decide to use this weapons. Pilots: I am using helopilots by OldDiego. In 1995-96 Turkish army decided to upgrade old P model. It was sent to Israel for upgrades. And it was brought to late Israeli F model standard.. But still in official documents and info plates on helicopters it is P model. Aircrafts received new electronics, HUD and all israeli F model upgrades. All serial numbers are proper for Turkish P model and historicaly correct.   4. Agree on that higher rank #4. Noticed that some time ago on some campaign. I forget about it. But somehow it works the way as Spudknocker described.

  6. While attacking ground targets. Command- attack ground objrcts will allow 3 and 4 attack and both will attack. While attack my target only 3 will attack until it run out of bombs/rockets and then 4 will attack.
  7. Thing solved. Ive extracted formation ini and swap files. And I think it works fine now. Not much chance to test it today anymore. Maybe on weekend. But first is compared formation.ini from my israel game with the one extracted - it was identical. So i overwrite file and looks like its going to be ok,. thanks.
  8. My bad: SF2:Israel. Only red side. Meaning when flting BLUE there is only one RED tank. When Flying RED im supporting one RED tank against numbers of BLUE tanks. Stock terrain IsrealME and also Isreal2 (Full scale) Any year. But ive tested in years 1972-2006. Same issue all the time - one RED enemy. I got all SF2:I Expansion pack ground objects installed. And it was ok before...Untill strange thing happend. Possible i modified something. Formation.ini entry are same as in other games (where i got big numbers of enemy units) Herein mission editor: Blue side I can add up to 13 blue tanks: Red side only one. Any year, any type, always 1. same thing when flying withut mission editor, straig single mission - CAS type. Always one RED ground unit.
  9. SInce im not playing much recently I don't know when something went wrong. But today I was hoping to fly little. Anyway. Shortly: In single mission on CAS mission type im always supporting my troops. And this is ok. but they are fighting with ONE (1) tank or any other enemy unit. Before sometiems I had to stop numbers of enemy tanks, but lately it is always one single enemy unit (bmp,tank, ground troops etc) In mission creator I can also set up enemy unit but again up to 1 (?). And this thing happend only in WOI instal all other games are fine. And im mostly using same ini edits in all instals. Im confused. Thanks in advance.

  12. Yes can be. But as others says. It will be fps unfriendly. One object should be ok, but few more... .tod trees is the option.
  13. Update for this file was uploaded. Changes to prvious: fixes at external .lod model. new skins, some parts remapped. ( I've lost templates year ago in pc crash, so ive made again new). small fixes in ini files. new loadout.ini file. changes in cockpit model. changes in cockpit textures changes in weapon weight limits on weaponstations added parking eye candy animation. Higly recomended to backup old files or just simply delete old files. As this is new pack and will not work with old. Added few new skins.

  16. Since it is bigger it is made for player choice. Im making it my way since i don't like mess in my mods folder. So someone interested only in Nam era can download only one pack. Two packs smaller mess. Diferences: Over Vietnam - 37/40th ARRS and 21st SOS skins numbers that apeared in SEA theater. Over Europe - 67th ARRS and 601st TASS skins and numbers that apeared in specific units in Europe. There is small diference in SEA camouflage (Europe vs. Vietnam) In over Europe at the end of 70's you can add AN/ALA-17 Airborne Flare Dispenser and this will apear on lower rear fuselage section on right/left side near cargo ramp and dedicated control panel above pilot head in pit. ;-)

Modifications included installation of a new night photography capability with photo flash cartridge ejector and Reconflex VI infrared camera. C-54D 43-17235 began operations on 20 April 1962 with a cover story for aircraft's purpose. Hilo Hattie mapped all of south Vietnam and border areas of Laos and Cambodia. During 10 months of service, the aircraft flew 102 missions before it was replaced by Brave Bull - Big Safari modified C-97G. So this mod is mostly for players interested in Wings Over Vietnam. Decals, skins (based on veltro2k templates) - yakarov. Hilo Hattie ini work (few lines for fake pilot and weaponstations work) - yakarov. It is REQUIRED that you have some measure of SF2, merged to whatever level, as this mod references the stock An-12's destroyed model. Hence, the need (as I state it always) for a Full 5 Merged install. It is usable without, but you may not have the dead, burning wreckage on the ground. It has NOT been tested in 1stGen SF/Wo* at any patch level. It most likely will =NOT= work, due to LOD coding.
