  1. used to post some stuff at SimQH... can't say if he's still around there though
  2. and we bashed mlracing too early... time will come we'll need guys like him
  3. I think I'll try to make it working and ask politely mr Lejczak for green light IF I make it to a flyable state... still a long way Major I know otehr group released SF1/2 planes based on Lejczak's freeware models
  4. maybe, will have to see what Gerwin's cooking, but generally rememer it's a several tiles only for whole terrain so some repeativeness (sp?) will occur
  5. makes things a bit more... real, doesn't?
  6. have you checked all the ini references, position etc? Cockpit folder, model names? I have had zero troubles using old SF1 planes in series2
  7. nice pack for great plane! as for D... this is freeware model for non-commercial use by famous Anders Lejczak
  8. I'll add poor Wilhelm to the fabulous speech pack I have from Series1 downloads, can't recollect the uploader's name ATM
  9. Our Italian friends were working on Italy and surroundings terrain while ago, weren't they? South America would be nice, even some A.T.A.C type campaign with COINs etc BTW, Ignacio do you allways need to start such topics in Pub? Just asking nicely
  10. Good for you Derk as for SF2 guys, yes, we're a bit more and more dependant on what TK decides not to lock next @Dave: Understand you perfectly... Sometimes it's good to switch in the right moment As for the series... just tried few years old "Heroes Over Europe", was on magazine DVD... man I don't want SF series to end up like that... with slo-mo ace shots, zero flight realism and crappy voice overs (ohh, we already have crappy voice-overs)
  11. I think Tomcat Fire At Will had it modelled too
  12. yup, Kevin's in PTO mod frenzy all hail Wrench!
  13. my biggest problem is different SFP1/SF2 were allways lite sims, with a formula years-long EAW/Janes' ATF/WW2 Fighters etc suited me best in term of gameplay vs switchology but we have had great real life experts (hat off men!) who were able to turn it into really believable/realistic build Now with everything going down the Joe Six-pack (as Gunrunner call it) way we are with what patch brings and without the possibility to tweak this and that to bring it for those that want to previous realism/playability level sad as I can't think of any other flightsim around with such a huge base of detailed and accurate planes/cockpits/skins/weaponry And there is he TK, thinking the average Joe Six-pack will be his best customer... heck in the end he is most probably going to code automatic gear/flaps/hook not to confuse the poor Joe edit: the piracy excuse is really weak IMO
  14. surely! I still have mixed feelings about ths set myself to be honest, but decided it's better to upload it as otherwise it would end in Abyss corner of my backup drive... SF1 version? That would make alot of folks here happy
  15. Aim-9 locking onto ground heat sources... now that would be neat! yep, 60-80% failure rate in my case (don't know which weapon pack) is about right
  16. View File Gerwin's Iceland 1024 tileset v1.0 This is 1024x1024 optional tileset and treemod for Gerwin's "old format" IcelandNA terrain. This version replaces version 0.9 uploaded on 08.14.2012 Two generic "seasons" included, warm and cold, where cold one gives full snow cover. By popular members request, optional darker water included in separate "oprional darker water" folder for both "seasons"; the default brighter water is more or less like in LOD-based NA terrain New waternormals included, rough (default) and calm waters (the latter found in "optional calm water" folder) Submitter Stary Submitted 09/03/2012 Category Tilesets for Terrains
