  4. should be in SF2 terrains download section, but with your cards you shouldn't have that much troubles, try setting the terrain detail and ground objects to high instead, this gives great performance boots in some cases
  5. 1024 MB or video memory is recommended for the HR tilesets, 512 will do but I used to have CTDs rarely when using that amount
  6. don't use alpha for the visior, standard blinn material

  9. hard to tell, not my area of expertise, but the airfields are the same as in other titles
  10. one can allways borrow TODs from other tilesets, just rename to match the name of given tile, and add the needed bitmaps and references in data ini

  16. true and also it implies more reasonable manouvering, I used to do tremendous over-g turns, with Nov11 it's more demanding which is a good step, mixed with the new damage modelling it's doing fine and yes, breaking apart Badgers are cool to see from a distance
  17. such a gross insult is not tolerated here! MODS! MODS! j/k bro!!! remember the terrain in shots is using the test tileset, not the final one...

  20. yes structural limits have been now overmodelled a bit, also many mods are quite old and need updating, like the F-11
  21. those dealing with "just" tiles, minor retiling and TODs still have seizures everytime they click on Terrain Editor executable, I simply can't imagine what happens to the terrain creation Gurus like Wrench and two, three others
  22. exactly 20 years ago sneaky Santa brought me Commodore C-64. One of the games on the cassette was Ace of Aces... so, it's 20 years of simming

  23. IIRC improved DM both in engine calculations and visually
  24. in a given terrain's DATA file try changing this value: [HeightField] DetailScale=1.0 DetailFrequency=1.0 MaxHeight=1000 MinHeight=0 lower to 0.5 or increase to 2.0 to see if there's effect on the way noise map tiles, IIRC used to work such way back in series 1
