  1. "poor man's bumpmap" works at certain sun angles Marcelo is still around?
  2. Dave, Fubar, nice shots! DLC Mirage -what's with these pods? NATO Fighters 4+ install
  3. yes it would be SZ, maybe cracking TOD objects fromat would be challenge for you? You know so we could use custom Max meshes instead..? that would be cool too
  4. I'll try to fix that... I'm thinking about redoing "grass" type tods to remove ALL the trees from them. Simpler than retiling (by hand!) airbases perimeters -and allows modders using this tileset to place more airbases wherever they see fit
  5. My Zatec looks like this: no runway others suffer from the same too... messed up my Nato 4+ install also check this fix: http://combatace.com/files/file/10408-fixed-tfd-file-for-my-hr-sf2e-germanyce-terrain-update/
  6. yeah I'll have to make new TFD file, there are lot's of bases introduced after I did the tiling :( guys if you spot the trees on runways/aprons/taxiways, report here, Also what kind of mods you have applied -some add more runways than stock or Nato Fighters 4+ and I have not tested all of them
  7. trying some environmentsystem tweaks for own enjoyment
  8. I know, left them that way for "cold" seasons, but on most these are covered by snow. Covered in update changelog
  9. I hacked my install to use global terrain from FSX with unparalled Crysis-level detail too right now it CTDs but it sure works j/k (no SZ, not makin fun of your claim)
  10. all we could possibly need would be .OUT files TK never ever included in any version/title IIRC
  11. Happy Birthday!
  12. This is the tileset I posted several days ago (on 27th of June), updated to v1.1, full installation package. Due to some uploading issues/errors on my side (thank you my ISP!) I had to have original 1.0 file removed by site administrators.
  13. View File GermanyCE enhanced tileset This is repainted, enhanced tileset of GermanyCE terrain from SF2 Europe. Version 1.1 -check changelog for list of updates. All roads have been darkened, now appear as medium gray; opposite to previous yellowish -white. All seasons have been replaced by new ones, slightly different than before. New seasons added -thaw before spring and early summer. All TOD files are new, taken strictly from "trees, buildings graphics, TODs update" recently released. Main G-type fields layout has been corrected and organised. Now layout is back more like it was in original TW tileset. Corresponding modified TODs included. As an experiment all bmp files have been replaced by jpg format for HDD space conservation. Tiles are 512x512, downsampled from 1024x1024 templates. This pack FULLY replaces any of my GermanyCE 4 seasons mods. You don't need to have previous version installed -if you do, all old files will be replaced by new ones. 17. Teras, Gustav -great! do I spy modified skin on that Kiwi Gustav? somewhere over England, autumn of 1944 (1024x1024 hand-drawn textures )
  18. ok Dave -I see older entry being removed after I reported broken upload edit: finally uploaded file as separate entry into the database, older broken upload was removed by Staff
  19. I'm trying to upload ~380 MB file that is an update to file uploaded previoulsy -I upload using the same entry in the download database using "upload a newer version" menu. After uploading some 300 -320 MB my router stops uploading -internet works fine, browsing web pages works etc. I've tried three times now, on two occasions I had broken connection thanks to my ISP, on two it just stops sending any data from my computer -checked in W7 networking monitor constantly running in the background..? Any help or direction would be much appreciated. Maybe I should upload the new version as separete entry in the database? SF2 section, terrain mods BTW edit: some data is being send out as this post is the clear indication of that. But the bytes sent and bytes sent per interval (in network monitor) haven't moved a bit. Also the file upload progress bar stopped and disappeared (was some 3/4 of it)
  20. texelization? I think saving 100% quality jpegs prevent quality loss..? Haven't worked much with the format in the past though, now saving my tiles final work in jpeg (where's Jules when you need him?)
  21. your options.ini is the answer: [singleMission] AircraftType=AV-8Bplus Service=USMC MissionMap=GERMANYCE MissionType=CAS MissionTime=DAWN MissionWeather=BROKEN AirActivity=LIGHT AirDefenseActivity=LIGHT FlyAll=FALSE LoadMission=FALSE LoadMissionFilename= MissionDate=1994 StartYear=1948 EndYear=2012 EditMission=TRUE mine are just an example of course your file was modified by patch I suppose
  22. hmm... so I must finish my broken spaceship... this rock's getting crazier and crazier every year
