  1. what title says these install as separate .cat files in main SF2 install folder
  2. messy SF2 download = reason why people still play series 1 j/k, it's not the only reason I voted yes, but to my understanding such process isn't simple, as Dave several times stated in the past when asked about this. For time being, search function is our friend
  3. grrr! Due to own incompetence and absence of mind, lost several key ini files for one update. Damn it!

Is it the cursed shift+delete habit?

i was trying to be smart... overwritten newer inis with older. @Brain -yes, that shift+del habit. Don't know why, full recycle bin icon drives me crazy, allways did

  4. yes they have, with Rising Sun phase 2... let them discover that by themselfs
  5. oh, my bad -older Germany HR, with it's own data file, must extract one from stock terrain and adjust. Thanks Fubar
  6. was there since SF2 Europe (june 2009) Testing the new beautiful ships I noticed water is porked, doesn't hide the ships underwater hull
  7. My advice is to install whole weapons pack, otherwise you might have some things (like effects) corrupted I use Ordnance Shop II
  8. I LOL-ed, sorry Ed... family member entered my room asking what's so funny on the web good news you're sorting this out

    final

    nicely done
  10. pablo10692, I tested, WP from my pack works ok here. You're sure it's the WP effect? Mine looks like this: or is it different effect?
  11. TK likes to throw in some hidded, undocumented... well, shall I say "easter eggs"
  12. so did I, checked if there are any custom ini files in Flight folder (none) and still no luck
  13. hmm... In May11 these were ok, now they flip for me -tested in stock install with no mods
  14. heh, me including -TK pointed this out. Lesson for today? Check the updated files, line by line
  15. and I though you found yourself new hobby. Like goldfish or something
  16. Here, in the downloads section look below CombatAce logo ontop of page for link to the downloads
  17. same impact as it was before, it's up to one's config and his/her DetailMeshSize= setting
  18. I made separate topic about this, but worth repeating -old style trees rendering is working after changing single line in Options.ini ObjectsFade=TRUE to ObjectsFade=FALSE and the TOD objects are back as they were before May11 patch. This is making this patch a non-issue for me, sticking with it
  19. I wonder how I managed to miss the obvious -if you want the trees to render the way it was before May11 patch, go to your mod folder, open Options.ini file and change ObjectsFade=TRUE to ObjectsFade=FALSE and Voila! Old style rendering, with DetailMeashSize= working again TK, BIG Thank You Sir (no, we can't have them fading and rendering far at the same time)
