  1. Nice I have my repaint almost ready too -new grey roads, modified main tiles fields layout and some minor changes, plus new seasons, all in 512x512 resampled from 1024x1024 for performance: spring shown

  5. it's an old trick I started using in Baltika's BoB install -stock Mach value is too high for lower muzzle velocity guns, so hitting bombers from > 0.6 mile was somewhat impossible due to bullets being psyhically removed before reaching the target but yes, unfortunately, the impact of framerate is showstopper

I was testing the beautiful new ships released recently (cheers WhiteBoySamurai!) and after setting simple test mission in ME, I'm shocked that three SumnerFRAM2 2 to 3 miles apart from Tarawa, CG-52 can't hit a thing. All rounds short, some 1/4th off the targets. I remember there was bug related to guns offset from ships CG, is it the case? I'm asking because the recent new naval addons, aswell as Tomcat on the horizont, are tempting see more sea action in the missions and campaigns by our fellow action gurus. With ships unable to succesfully engage each other from such short (too short maybe?) distance it would be a bit hard to do some nice user made missions.

Purpose of this update is to replace trees and buildings graphics with new ones, hopefully for the better feel and looks. Also included are reworked .TOD files (files determinating population of tiles with objects) that make the trees more real-life size (as for Central Europe) and correct several tiles layout. As of some patches back, alpha-channel for buildings seems not supported, I removed all the "tricky" buildings that were using the apha channel for transparency effects (some fake lame windmills etc).   13. Exp2 came before May11 patch so my bet is no. Exp2->Jan11->May11->Jun11->DLC planes would be the good reasonable order. I bet the patching still must follow incrementally, last patches were NOT cumulative as far as I know

  17. no if you can life with gas shortage... ups! seriously, DLC store works ok, planes are nice, TK made insights about more coming, quite interesting if not odd (given stock theatres available) nations versions of planes not mentioned by name. Next DLC will be Mirage IIIC
  18. given the similar quality loss associated with both jpg and dds formats, it's a reasonable fomat. Anyway I think it was used before for some stock models, wasn't it?

  24. I have suspicion that Ordnance Shop II, or whatever pack is part of Nato4+ has some older materials conflicts needing an update..? We had similar problem with Willy Pete effects days ago
