Hi everyone! I'm trying to make working the gterl's Italian terrain http://combatace.com/files/file/14440-italian-terrain-incl-1915-1917-campaign/ for SF2. It's an amazing terrain for denissoliveira's swiss Mirages, for instance... I have just copy and past the terrain folder in my SF2E mod. I experience several problems... Immediate crash at the end of loading screen (don't have the problem if I start "in the air") Strange flashing surface (that are not the Nvidia driver problem as all my other terrains work perfectly): I know it's a FE terrain, but as the game engine seems to be similar... I have tried several tips, as this one http://combatace.com/topic/54856-converting-sfwo-terrains-to-sf2-usage/, without succes. Is anyone of you has made modification to use this terrain in SF2 with succes, and could share? If yes it would be great, and I thank in advance! Leo

Oh, that's a really powerfull tool... I have to play a little with it. But I understand now why the textures are black. Need to know if it's the real color or not (I guess it isn't). Anyway, thanks! :-)

What's happen when you install any add on SF2 series is that some folders are "re-full". For instance, if (Has I do it) you have selected in the aircraft of your Europe mod folder only the planes you want to fly with or meet in the skies (it means, if you have SF2-Israel, you have remove the kfir and others...), then after having installed SF2-Vietnam, all the planes you have in all the SF2 extensions already installed on your PC will be automatically re-install when you will launch each version of SF2. What I do in that case: Before installing a new version, I rename my aircraft folder (i.e. "aircraft_01"). Then, I install the new version, and execute each version. A new aicraft folder is automatically created with all the planes of the game. I quit the game, erase the "aircraft" folder, rename "aircraft_01" to "aircraft". And that's it. I hope my explanations are clear.

Many thanks Eric, now it works. Regarding SF2IO mod, I add to my MOD folder only some planes, depending of my preferences. That's why I've downloaded it even if I don't have SF2NA. My computer is not up to date, and I know that SF2NA requires a stronger PC.
