    Thank you for you reply but I think it is something to do with hidden face, or double sided issue.

    I would like to know what is the cause of this weird black line coming from the model and how to solve it, as it happened one time for me with one of the model that I did earlier This is the same thaing that happened to me but this is not my model this is OV-1A Bronco.

    There is no problem after exporting the file the problem in 3d max viewer only but if I render the model in 3d max it is perfect nothing wrong with the render, weird isn't it

    Today something weird happened to me I started one of my models to fix the radar and found out the texter is weird, but when rendering the model it's all perfect. any idea how to fix it or why it's happening? in Max view in Max rendered.

    I found this video so I thought it's worth sharing with you all. This video focuses on the much mis-understood smoothing groups in 3D Studio's Max. A firm understanding of smoothing groups separates the n00bs from the pro's. This tutorial also covers the relationship between smoothing groups and mesh smoothing.     That will be great but until I get to the point Where I will start the work you don't have to do anything yet, as I have a lot of models to complete and I wouldn't be free for a long time.

    I will consider making the boat as it really looks great after I complete the models that I have. it will take time so be patient.

    The Al Sanbouk (German TNC-45) is completed next, I will do the data files and the testing, wish me luck with the data files. PS. I decided to do a complete model from a to z so I can use the model later on for the upcoming game Sea Power. Ps. I forgot to add the boat number and the name.

    Okay, I have changed a lot of things, I had to redo things again to make them better (about 80% from the beginning). Next, I will start doing the UVs mapping.
