So which came first, the cannon or the aircraft?
Fdino replied to Fdino's topic in Air Combat School
Hello Gepard and Wrench! How are they? It really is funny. But, if we take this chicken or egg approach, we will come to the conclusion that it was the egg laid by the non-avian dinosaur,. Now it is interesting that you mention this because it reminds us of trying to apply cladistics to warships. If we think about this approach, is the A-10 totally unusual, something that we would consider as an evolutionary novelty? -

Hello friend. I entirely agree with your point of view. By the way, what you wrote is what I read most of the time. It is no exaggeration to say that the aircraft came first, precisely because, at least from what I read, the requirement for a CAS aircraft to have been made first. I think the cannon was added later. So much so, that they studied many existing attack aircraft, including those from World War II to be able to produce a good CAS aircraft. Yes, there was the thought of making a turboprop aircraft but then they changed precisely because of fragility. So, I believe the aircraft has been modified to accommodate the cannon and tub. The landing gears have also undergone change, including the landing gear near the nose that is not positioned exactly on the centerline. The position of the engines also I think has changed due to the move to lower the infrared signature. -

Hello friend. I confess that I've read many references about the A-10 Thunderbolt, including Bill Sweetman, Ken Neubeck and Peter C. Smith. You've read their book. But I like to read articles on the internet that explain about the aircraft. -
Hello. Would you like to know what is true? When researching the A-10 Thunderbolto II, some sources say that it was built around the cannon. Others say no. So which came first, the cannon or the aircraft? Thanks and very wishes.

F-22: Air Dominance Fighter remaster releasing on February 17
Fdino replied to Menrva's topic in General Flight Sim News
Seeing the desktop screen in this video made me nostalgic for my old PC, when I used to run these simulators and other PC games. JSF, F-22 Raptor, F/A-18 Korea (Yes, I have this one to), F-15 Strike Eagle, Oddworld: Abbes Odyssey, Duke Nukem, how many I played...- 17 replies

Hi! Thanks Erik. It's a good solution. I take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and thank you for the excellent work and mods you have all been doing.

What is the function of the BRDM Reccon Car and the Zil-157 Command?
Fdino replied to Fdino's topic in General Discussion
Hi +MODDER. How are you? I had guessed as much. Because I never managed to see any difference when we destroyed them. Often they're near a radar. When I target the radar and one of them survives, it doesn't make a difference either. I think they're only worth points. Thank you. -
Hi friend. Yes. F-2 is a good fighter. Its production cost was too high. And this has caused Japan to reduce the number of jets to be purchased. I'm still thinking about buying a plastimodel of him to assemble.
-
Hi Acaria! I'm interested in the composite material that coats the aircraft, contributing to its strength and plasticity against physical forces, as well as its low radar signature. I'm also interested in the aircraft's aerodynamics and its manufacturing process, which, let's face it, was quite turbulent. The F-2 intrigues me as much as the F-14 and the A-10. I believe they are marvelous aerospace engineering models that could have other applications.

Hi Ravenclaw. First, very thanks much! I'll see if I can buy it. But it was very good. Thank you.

Hi flying friends! How are you? I´ve a question. I study and like the Mitsubishi F-2 quite a bit and then gather various texts and articles from websites. However, I've never seen a book about this aircraft, even one in Japanese. Do you know of any books that discuss this aircraft? Thanks! Note: I recently managed to run Strike Fighters 2 on my computer. Because it's a weak computer, the game sometimes freezes. I finally managed to run some models I downloaded here a while ago, and they're perfect. You guys are truly artists. Congratulations and very thanks friends!

I Agree with @PeacePuma. The your ideas are good. I also suggested that mods produce new material, for example, fictional aircrafts. But someone said this is not viable. I loved the model production classes. Like me, many who want to develop their own models also need it. I think that if we start producing new material, with new ideas, Peace Puma could even be viable. I only see one problem. Thirdwire won't get in trouble for this? But the classes would be cool. As soon as I get a graphics card, I'll be able to contribute to this.

Hi LAZ Boy. I'm doing mods and thought about making a mod of this aircraft with WOE and WOV. If you could donate such a model to me, I would be grateful. Of course, when I post the mod I will make due reference to you and will not sell it. Thanks.

Hello. I'm a game developer and aviation lover. I loved Strike Fighters from the first day I saw it. I would like to know how to make models of aircraft and terrain for campaigns. I have several model ideas and I wish I could make them to share with you. It's also the least I can do for you to allow you to download models and enjoy hours of fun in this realistic simulator. Also, it will help me to develop techniques to make simulators. Thanks.

Awesome fireworks! How you did it?

I found the project formidable. I'm even practicing here to create my models and share with you. SF2 does not run right on my PC. But SF1 runs perfectly. I've been looking for this aircraft for SF1 for about three years to be able to fly with it on WOE. Do you know what I'm going to do? I will not pray to anyone. I will learn to make my own models and share them with you and whoever needs them. Thank you for your help.

Hello. I'm looking for a model of the Aj-37 Viggen for SF1. The only model you have on the site needs the A-Team Lod file. And the A-team website appears to be dead. So, would anyone have the Aj-37 Viggen model for SF1 / WOE? Thankful.

Hello. There is some model the IL-102. I searched and searched and never found. If you have not, I'm thinking of doing and sharing with you. Thank you. IL-102.bmp
