Bae HawkT mk1A of RAF Brawdy Wales UK.Number 1 Squadron,TWU,(Tactical Weapons Unit,(Training))
By Me.Russouk2002@aol.com
Contains....Hawk T/mk1A
Hangar screen
Loadout
And is armed with...
Aden Gunpod,Aim9`s,and Rockets,(which will be replaced by Matra rockets when made. For next release)
Bombs are optional.edit the weapondata for your own choices. The Gunpod is an option in the loadout as in reality its not a fixed weapon on the hawk.
Just drop the Hawk_T1A folder in sf\objects\Aircraft folder and Decal folder too, copy and paste contents of Objects folder in SF\Objects folder
This is a very Beta Release as its not fully completed. It is quite flyable though.
I am currently remapping the Hawk as the bmps are too small. And theres a degree of Bitmap stretching etc,tho not evident in game. But I know its there,lol...When 2nd realease is done ,it will be just a case of a new Lod and Bitmap Textures, and new weapons. The latter will be for the new patch\Weapons editor as its pointless doing them now when the patch is due.
The FM is ok for now (currently being worked on).
This release is solely for feedback soas to improve the airtcraft in anyways.Dont forget this is only my 1st aircraft released,so dont expect perfection yet...lol
Drone was my 1st actual model and the schoolhouse for Major lee, which turned out well.was the 2nd..
I hope you enjoy flying the hawk as much as I enjoyed making it.Just remember Im no expert at data ini`s..lol

Falklands (Malvinas) Terrain by Major Lee
Tiles by Diego and Polak
Released with permission from Diego and Maj Lee
I think this terrain looks like the Falklands did in the war. It is/was WIP. You can add carriers and ships to it easily. It does need more targets etc but its a good furball terrain so enjoy.

VF-103 (the "Sluggers") was activated in 1952 as an F4U Corsair squadron. VF-103 shortly transitioned to the F9F Cougar. After a few years with the Cougar, VF-103 was one of the first squadrons to transition to the F-8 Crusader. Once the transition was completed they were teamed up with VF-102 on board Forrestal. Before the introduction to supersonic Crusader jets, American carrier battle groups were often embarrassed by British bombers during allied exercises as the RAF English Electric Canberras had always been able to make mock attacks on US Carriers with impunity. The carrier-based fighters at the time simply could not put up much resistance. During the 1958 Mediterranean cruise, British pilots were shocked when VF-103 tore through their formation of Canberras before they even had a chance to start their simulated attack.
Just put into your MF F-8E folder and fly.
Thanks to C5 for the skin templates. Thanks the rest of the MF for everything else.

The Navy fighter squadron known as the Red Rippers were established as VF-5S in 1927 at Hampton Roads, Virginia. They flew the Curtis F6C-3 Hawk and have served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. From 1927 to World War II, the Rippers flew several propeller aircraft including the Boeing F3B-1 and F4B-1, the Grumman FF-1 and F3F-1 and also held the following designations: VF-5S, VB-1B, VF-5 and VF-4. During World War II the Rippers were known as VF-41 and supported the allied invasion of North Africa, downing sixteen enemy aircraft in the Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat. They conducted the first air strikes against German forces in Norway in September 1943. The Red Rippers were designated VF-A when they transferred to the Pacific Theatre in 1944 on board USS Bunker Hill (CV-17) and USS Essex (CV-9). In the Pacific they flew the first air strikes against Tokyo in the Grumman F6F Hellcat.
In 1948 the Red Rippers were redesignated as VF-11. After World War II, the Red Rippers leaped into the jet age, flying the McDonnell F2H Banshee during the Korean War from the USS Kearsarge (CV-33). On 15 Feb 1959, the original Red Rippers were disestablished, but when VF-43 was redesignated as VF-11 on the following day, they decided to adopt the traditions and insignia of the Red Rippers. The "new" VF-11 Red Rippers transitioned to the Chance-Vought F-8 Crusader on USS Franklin D. Roosevelt (CV-42) where they helped quell the unrest in the Dominican Republic in 1961. In 1965 the Rippers moved to NAS Oceana flying the F-4 Phantom and saw action in North Vietnam in 1967 flying from the decks of USS Forrestal (CV-59).
Just put into your MF F-8D folder and fly.
