3W B-52D NM/White Skin Decal Update 8/16/2015
= For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) and/or SF2:V =
*Note: must have SF2:V as part of your base install, as that has the B-52D*
Some small modifications to Pete Fredrico's (pappychksix) original 1stGen Silver/White anti-flash B-52D skin. This mod repositions the original decals to match the SF2 positions, and adds 26 historical serials number decals. It should be noted that the serials, while correct for the model variant, are not representative of specific aircraft in a particular squadron or wing. They should be considered 'generic' in this respect. Decal randomization is TRUE. The original bmp format skins have been changed to jpg; other than that, they remain as originally posted.
Also included is a modifided texture set ini for the stock SEA camo skin, that uses the SF2 "date switch" to turn it on in 1965. This NM/White skin is default for all year previous to 1965.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....
Happy Landings!

The Kyushu J7W1 Shinden "Magnificent Lightning" fighter was a World War II Japanese propeller-driven aircraft prototype that was built in a canard design.
The wings were attached to the tail section and stabilizers were on the front. The propeller was also in the rear, in a pusher configuration.
Developed by the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as a short-range, land-based interceptor, the J7W was a response to B-29 Superfortress raids on the Japanese home islands.
For interception missions, the J7W was to be armed with four forward-firing 30 mm cannons in the nose.
The Shinden was expected to be a highly maneuverable interceptor, but only two prototypes were finished before the end of war.
A gas turbine–powered version was considered, but never even reached the drawing board.

SF2 Upgraded F-16 Hangar, Loading and Loadout screens for F-16 Mod Packs By the Viper Team!
By Me (No relations to the Viper Team!)
This is my upgraded F-16 Hangar, Loading and Loadout screens for most excellent F-16 Mods from "The Viper Team"'s (and one from dtmdragon - ADF) F-16 Mod packs. What I did was downloaded the F-16 packs from here...
http://combatace.com/files/category/666-f-16/
Then I combined them up. Upgraded all the Hangar, Loading, Loadout screen files. Then deleted everything but the Hangar, Loading, Loadout screen files to keep the folder structure. In theory, you should be able to copy my pack into your SF2 Mod folder, BUT I CAN'T RECOMMEND THAT since I don't know what F-16 you installed or how.
* Why did I do this?
I must be OCD, but I like all my Hangar and Loading screens to have the same format. I tried to match most of the plane to actual pix of planes for the Hangar and Loading screen. In many of the cases, I has to use generic planes because I could not find a decent picture of the plane.
Ok, this install is abit more complicated than my other mod/update/upgrades, but it's worth it. Well it was worth it for me.
* What is included in this pack:
*HANGAR.JPG
*LOADING.JPG
*LOADOUT.TGA
*NOTHING ELSE, NO LODS, SKINS, INIs....etc.
* What is changed:
Upgrades F-16 Hangar, Loading and Loadout screens in "...\Objects\Aircraft" only!
Installation:
* BEFORE YOU OVERWRITE ANYTHING - BACKUP!!!!
1) Sniper approach...
Take a look in my "*\To_Mod_Folder\Objects\Aircraft" folder. If you see a plane you have and want to upgrade with my screens, copy the screen files, one at a time, to your plane in your SF2 "...\Objects\Aircraft" Mod folder.
2) Shotgun approach...
Backup your SF2 ""...\Objects\Aircraft" mod folder, and then copy the contents of my "To_Mod_Folder" folder to your SF2 mod folder. If you don't have the plane I have, you will just get some extra folders in your SF2 mod folder and waste some space. If something goes nuts, then you have your backup? Right?
That's pretty much it...If I can sell (free, not money or anything - LOL) "The Viper Team" on these screens, it would just come "The Viper Team'S" F-16 packs...LOL, not pushing anything...just wishing. Love your work!!
------------------------------------------
Credits to "the Viper Team" for their Excellent F-16 Mods. Also and again, I have no associations with the Viper Team. We jut share the name and the admiration for F-16s - that is all.
Enjoy!

StrikeFighter2 World War II PTO Hi-Res Alternate 1024x768 Menu Screens and Music!
By Viper
I recently downloaded the "All inclusive SF2 Pacific Theater of Operations" (PTO) package from the A-Team site. Excellent package, but the menus were not to my liking...soooo...I upgraded them. These menu screens are tailored for that package, but it should work for any SF2 game with a Pacific WWII theme!
Note: These are new Menu Screens for the A-Team PTO Package - NOT THE A-TEAM PTO PACKAGE. If you want the SF2 Pacific Theater of Operations package, you will have to download it from the A-Team site. A little tricky getting registered, but I recommend it!
You should unzip the file and preview the new screens before installing them. I recommend doing this as there are MANY alternate screens I have in there that you might like better.
If you choose to install these screens, I recommend that you back up (make a copy of) your FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders in the SF2 Mod folder you're installing this mod into. Just in case you want to go back to your original setup.
To install, simply unzip and copy the uncompressed FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders to your StrikeFighter2 mod folder.
To remove, simply delete the FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders and rename the copies you made to FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders.
My StrikeFighter2 mod on Win97 64-bit would be something like...
C:\Users\<your_id>\Saved Games\Thirdwire\<Name of your PTO mod folder>\
Enjoy!
PS. Check out my Init Screen mod in the "InitScreen Extra" folder...

SF2 New Hangar, Loading, and Loadout Screens for F/A-18A/B/C/D Version 2.0
By Viper 2015/08/06
These are upgraded/Alternate Hangar, Loading, Loadout Screens for The Hornet Team's F/A-18A/B/C/D Version 2.0 package and new <Aircraft>.ini files to read them. It was released by Dave and can be downloaded here. If the The Hornet Team team saw fit to add this to their pack, I would be grateful.
FA-18 Series Update by The Hornet Team 2.0
http://combatace.com/files/file/15259-fa-18-series-update-by-the-hornet-team/
These replaces/adds to The Hornet Team's package (STOCK ONLY) released on 11 Jan 2015. This (my) package DOES NOT include any LODs or other files from the Hornet team. It does include a new <AirCraft>.ini files so the right screens are read for display.
First!!! Always backup F/A-18s in your "...\Objects\Aircraft" folder. To install, copy the new "Airctaft" folder into your mod "Objects" folder. Overwrite and you're done.
Enjoy!

SF2 - EF-2000 Eurofighter Typhoon "BETA" Pack
This aircraft is tested on Fully Merged SF2E/I/NA/V on July 2013 patch.
The aircraft is to be use under the COMBATACE rules "ONLY"
DO NOT VIOLATE THE RULE OR PERFORM PIRACY!
First, I want to thank Bongodriever for his "superb" re-work of his EF-2000 for SF2.
Despite being a "Beta" it is an exceptional aircraft. Lets hope he will finish the work someday?
Also, without his work... we would of all have to wait for another talented individual to make this aircraft.
Thank you very much Craig.
I want to take this opportunity to dedicate this Aircraft to the following individuals:
"Spinners" - I want to thank you for helping me to get started in becoming a Modder at Combatace.
Even though time have past, I have not forgotten about your kindness, support, and patience in teaching me the basics.
I also want to thank... "Fastcargo" "Wrench" and "Sundowner" for their early support as well.
Of course, since the early days to the present. I had the pleasure of being helped by so many other great and talented
people... You know who you are... Thank you all for sharing your knowledge and many other things...
Now, since this is a BETA... Pretty much all deficiencies are well known. So do not make uncessary post or comments if you find an issue.
Please take the time to read the "knowledge base section for SF2" to install this aircraft, as well as, to answer many questions you might have?
Yes, the knowledge base section has wealth of information that answers most of your concerns or issues. Make the effort to learn it, DO NOT BE LAZY.
Also, make the effort to use the search function for your concerns or issues. You will be surprised that many of topic issues have already been discussed.
Lastly, the file is BIG... I did do my due diligence to make sure all is correct. But like anything in life, there is a chance that I might have miss something or made an error?
Feel free to make the post if you find something that is not correct?
This file contain all of the air wings and squadrons from all of the current EF-2000 user and soon to be user of the EF-2000.
Instead of listing them (which is very long), look at the files and you will know who they are...
With the exception of the RAF 43(F) Sqn and the 2(AC) Special markings, all of the squadrons are current or were in existence.
- 43(F) squadron was suppose to be the next Typhoon squadron this year, but that was changed when 2(AC) squadron was selected instead.
- 2(AC) special marking was something I just added.
Note #1: Until Ravenclaw finish the KEPD-350, the GAF and the Eda will not show a stand-off weapon under the loadout for "strike".
I use the KEPD_350 as a reminder for future changes on the loadout.
Note #2: ONly RAF is using the swing-Role for the EF-2000. Most other nations are using the EF-2000 for Air Defense only, but are starting to use the ground attach capability.
So, the loadout is not the most accurate for the various ground roles. You can change it to what ever you like.
Note #3: Pirate cam will appear when you use the AA mode. With targeting pod loaded, you have to select the AG mode to use the targeting pod cam.
All work are done by me with the exception of the credits given to the people below:
Bongodriver - Aircraft/Seat/.LODs and most of the .INIs (with tweaks by me)
ChrisBV - Pilots (I slightly modified the skin)
Florian/JAT - Pilot
Ravenclaw - Weapons (I modified one of the weapon to make the GBU-48B)
FastCargo - Fakepilot
Eagle114th - Wingtip vortex (I modified both the skakey/straight vortex effects, also can use both at the same time)
Spillone104 - Engine sounds
If I have forgotten anyone for their work, my apologies, and your work is being recognized and credited.
Thank you for reading.
I hope you will enjoy flying this aircraft.
Cheers!
